I clicked on the video because I recognized the casters in the thumbnail. I bought the exact set of casters for my Supermax sander. They want 99 bucks for 3” casters and I got the same 2” you used (with the same size stud as the included feet) for less than $20. Super happy so far on my smooth shop floor. Nice video BTW, subscribed.
would you mind saying what the footprint of your drum sander was? I’d like the make a flip top stand for my planer and this Jet drum sander but trying to figure out how much space the drum sander will need!
Including the motor and adjustment plate 38 wide. The belt and motors is 20 deep but it only sits on about 11 inches of that 20. Let me know if that made sense
You do a review on a 16/32” sander and then test it with a 2” piece of wood? I’ve got a 6” drum sander that will do that…. Why not do a real world test?
Drum sanders don’t have snipe unless you are dealing with longer stock, I was referring to a wider board, but I guess it’s all relative unless you get runout on the wider stock.
@@louisgriffin1785 I do actually get a SMALL amount of snip on this machine. Wide boards aren't too bad but still need a little bit of blending with a sander

Hey thanks! Love the casters so far, they lock nicely and glide smoothly!

You're going to use it all the time!
do u get snipe, mine is getting it on the leading edge, is there a video on adjusting for getting rid of the snipe?
HELLO, DO YOU RECOMMEND THIS TOOL? BETTER JET OR LOGUNA?

I was more worried about snipe and other things when I first was using it. Plus I do a good amount of smaller stock in general

I do still get snipe! Cannot for life of me figure out how to adjust it more
i think its a design flaw, very disappointed with this, mine is 2 inches into the wood
@dave buchanan same with mine 😞
just got it figured out , loosen the four screws on the inside for the feed rollers, im going to put up a video in a few minutes
@dave buchanan I did that when I first got it. I have them unscrewed right up until they will come out. I still get a small amount of snipe
