I know sometimes we don't always get exactly what we want but I also know God gives us exactly what we need at that time. We have to be conviction about our sin and repent from our sin and recognize your own sin we have to ask God for wisdom you can get caught up in some one else stuff about there sin you have to have courage about your conviction pray for me that i have a real self assurance and confident

God does not answer prayer with we have Sin in ourselves? Then we will NEVER get an answer to prayer because WHO among us has no Sin? Makes no sense to me. Why even bother to pray then? As long as we are in this body of Sin and Death we will have Sin.

I love this but it is sooooo hard to do this when you have Debbie downers around you who don't understand the situation and they pressure you into doing it another way or they make you feel really bad about it smh.

@@umarbashir89 yes we have sins but mr stanley means sins that we are hiding from God, confess your sins to him and he will hear.
Yeah, that's happened to me recently. They would refuse to pray for me, or tell me God wants me to be my own hero, that mom and I won't get any miracles from God. I tried explaining that our efforts weren't good enough and they would say cruel things, as if self-reliance is all there is for us and that I'm entitled for expecting anything else. It reminds me of how Dr. Stanley said that people who are hurting will say "why would God help you, He's not helping me." Their advice isn't God's advice and neither is mine! Thank God. :/ Coco, I prayed for you.

Waiting for God's timing in answering a prayer is NOT my strong suit. In this particular situation (Covid) , I have NO power to do anything other than pray. And wait. UGH! "Teach me, Lord, to wait."

My question is how do I know my prayers are according to His will? I am praying to be healed from a minor surgery that has now cost me my job. I am an RN. I have no money and need to work. It has been 8 months and I am not healed enough to go to work. I am asking am I not praying according to His will. I don’t feel my prayers are selfish yet He has chosen not to heal me.
