Yes helping because asaians are smart and think business perspective they want to remain top country in the world so helping other countries gives them help because they put Jamaica and all the countries they help on a contract to pay them back eventually they know it’s impossible so when Jamaica becomes Dubai for example China will make 70% percent while Jamaica keeps like 30% the country will literally be run by another country

Ocho Rios and Portmore STILL do not have any Hospitals despite their increasing population. Don't get me wrong, Mobay need this development for all children in western Jamaica, but the corruption from this government is stifling; especially this so called tourism minister who's constituency is in St James.
The idiot politicians in Portmore are way too busy fighting to make Portmore a Parish. They could care less about a Hospital or even a decent Park for the residents there.
This is something the tourism minister should negotiate for with hotel developer Ocho Rios.

The last big hospital that went up in MoBay has been bleeding money hand over fist. Cornwall Regional Hosp has been in perpetual difficulties… while I welcome wholeheartedly this new addition we should at the same time always be improving what already exists and esp the pay and working conditions for our health care workers . Train more and more send to farin and some stay. Would like to see more males get into nursin too.. would also love to see KPH rehabilitated and upgraded. The JLP decision on free health was not good. It has helped to drain money from health. Citizens need to know everything costs and have skin in the game. Same way u haffi buy food or pay taxi and school fees is same way we should pay for healthcare and all contribute to funding the system so it dont pap dung.

Cornwall Regional Hospital is been bleeding from in the 7os. It was swept underneath the carpet, old cruftf. At least something is being done now. It's your cashiers used to swindle the fees paid. I watched one of them pocketing the fees charged from the woman in front of me in the line and handed her no receipts. You people hate this government because it stop the robbing of the government's coffers.
A big reason why the Cornwall Regional Hospital ran into fiscal difficulties was because central government did not do timely maintenance/upgrades. Need are fiscally and functional empowered regional county councils to help maintain such massive infrastructure (i.e. Cornwall County Councils maintaining the Cornwall County Regional Hospital).

It appears to be a beautiful hospital but I am sorry this is not the largest children’s hospital in the Caribbean, it’s Couva Children’s Hospital in Trinidad. It’s a 230 bed hospital.
What are you talking about. The Couva Children's Hospital has been changed to the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility (CHMF), which is a mixed-use children/women and adult hospital. Only 80 out of its 230 beds are used for BOTH women and children, and the entire facility is like three floors high. Meanwhile the Cornwall Children's Hospital will be 7 floors high, and is right beside the 450-bed 10-floor Cornwall Regional Hospital. Not even considering the Bustamante Hospital for Children (BHC), which is a standalone children's hospital in Kingston with nearly 280 pediatric beds. Trinidad has a ways to go before it can eclipse this.
