Julie I truly appreciate your making this video for us, as making molds is how you make your livelihood. You didn't have to share that process with us, but I'm sure everyone appreciates it greatly. Thank you ♡
Thanks so much, Julie!! I have not really considered making my own mold but now I feel like it could work! You're agenerous with your knowledge and it's greatly appreciated!!!
What a fantastic final result 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The bloom came out lavishly beautiful and the mold seems (to me) to create an effect of, not mineral crystal, but ice crystals edge ❤❤❤ You make stuff from dreams ❤🙏🏻
Thank you so much for sharing how to make a mold. I am definately going to give it a go. I came across your channel about 18 months a go. You are the reason that I got into resin in the first place. I love how you give us newbies the courage to give things a go.❤
Now that's a mold I like. It looks like your finished coaster have a nice foot more secure for what you want to put on it (now that's just me ) it is a beautiful crystal edge love it😊
I definitely would purchase a mat to put my mould on because after seeing the indentation of where the blue mould has been. Yes, granted that mark is not very deep, but your white moulds are already gorgeous, and if I destroy one by leaving a mark on the original masterpiece you have made, I would cry. The square mould turned out beautiful, but I have yet to see anything you make be anything other than stunning. Another successful video. 🫶
That work great! I'm so glad you did this Julie. I bought some silicone cake pans a with the idea of making either crystal edge or rock edge molds out of them. But I hadn't quite figured out how to use the liquid silicone to accomplish this. I hadn't thought about using the silicone putty. Now I will try this. I can never thank you enough for all that I learn from you. You are a treasure Julie. 💗
Thank you Julie! As I have been processing my thoughts, this has confirmed my reverse manufacturibg theory. I love ppl like me that are willing to share. If we dont share,... the American saying "what i forget or dont share, you will never know"" 🎇💗💓💞
Thank you for sharing this Julie. I’ve been trying to decide whether to get the putty or liquid silicon but the putty seemed so easy. Mind you I love the moulds that you make, sometimes it just easier to buy them from you I love the piece that you’ve done, it’s simply gorgeous. ❤🎉
I think the part that impressed me the most is that before you took the edge mold off you could see the top side and decide if it needed a bottom coat while it was still in the mold. very helpful! I don't think the upper lip detracts from the result at all.
I like your pretty coaster and the fact you made the mold that way. I made 2 different molds this week and I enjoyed doing it. The only difference in the way I did mine was I put mine on an acrylic sheet then shaped the puddy on it. When I did my 1st pour I put it on a very clean acrylic sheet and got a very shiny surface. Love that yours was so shiny too.
I found the same thing happened when making some inlays. A month or so later the marks had disappeared. This time I tried to make a rock edge and I used a thin plexiglass for the silicone putty to set on. Jennifer did a video where she used some silicone caulking to "glue" it down with. So far it's looking good. If I'm happy with it then I'll order from you.
Thank you Julie for sharing this. I have just ordered your fine live edge coaster but I think I may make something myself to practice until I get the technique right. Then I can use the good one you made lol ❤ I love your work! You really inspire me to go outside my comfort zone 😊
Hello, Love your videos! Have been watching since it was just paint pours. I would really like to see how to make a more professional version of this mold. Some of use can not afford to buy multiple molds of good quality especially when shipping is so very high, but we would pay to make our own good quality molds. Thank you so much!
Eu tenho que dizer de fato seu trabalho me surpreendeu. Há dois anos eu busco soluções para fazer moldes mais fáceis e permanentes e você é minha inspiração. Muito obrigada mesmo. I love your work and I am really grateful. So useful and helpful video. Thanks
Julie, I made some inserts to put in my sea turtle mold and had the same problem. I snipped tiny bits off all over them with very sharp pointed embroidery scissors, especially the rounded parts, and got a really faceted look. I was going to throw them away, but that stuff is just too expensive!
Wonder if the putty 'creeps' before it sets at that's why you lost the sharpness. I'm a modeller builder first and use a silly putty for masking camouflage and that 'flows' but it is supposed to and not really designed for masking.
Thank you Julie for doing this mould. I done this and when I demoulded mine it broke in half I used 2 pits if putty now and both times they broken once demoulding. I like to know how u make the mould with the shiny crystals all inside it x

Very pretty effects you made there Julie. I've used that putty for different projects. It's good stuff. 💗

I love watching how you make the molds . You always cheer me up.
I REALLY love how the crystal edge came out. Much better than the impression of silicone suggests. It's a keeper
That turned out beautifully
Thank you for the great video. I always learn so much from you. Love the coaster! 😍
I love this video! Thank you for sharing how easy it can be to create a mold. You never disappoint!
So gorgeous Chica! Ðo more of these like triangles and such.

I really like this live edge mold design, it’s a very unique pattern, nice bloom also ❤❤

What an inexpensive way to practice and just have fun. My art teacher in school always said you can't make mistakes..its your artwork

I’m going to have to try this. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much for this video xxx
Very nice! I think it did come out with beautiful detail! I wouldn't use the gold trim, but I do like the center you chose for this one. xo
A very beautiful bloom .
Beautiful ❤
Lovely julie
I love your videos!
Maybe you could use a pasta roller to roll out a flat sheet to line the bottom first and then do the walls!
There's no time for that
I love it! ❤
Thank you.
Pretty

Hello everyone
I love it how do you make mold I wish I could do it I'm thinking very strongly of trying it thank you for the video love always robin
Could you put the small mold on parchment paper?
Wonder if the putty 'creeps' before it sets at that's why you lost the sharpness. I'm a modeller builder first and use a silly putty for masking camouflage and that 'flows' but it is supposed to and not really designed for masking.
hi, can you please tell me how you make the molding paste
Thank you Julie for doing this mould. I done this and when I demoulded mine it broke in half I used 2 pits if putty now and both times they broken once demoulding. I like to know how u make the mould with the shiny crystals all inside it x
I've never had that happen to me
😊
I can only think it was bc you did it twice over same spot?
❤
Can you use a glass dish?
To do what with it?
@@PouringYourHeartOut to make silicone molds. Can you use glass?
How do we purchase your molds?
The link is in my description
I wonder if it’s because you had to roll it up over the edge 🤷♀️
I feel like you could have just used the back of your existing mold so that you didn't get any indentions on the front.
It's not clean enough
Синий молд можно было обтянуть пищевой плёнкой, чтобы не бояться что протечет смола
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

🙌🏼👏🏻😃❤
Hi Julie. I really like your molds. I tried ordering but it was canceled. How can I get couple molds from you? Can I private message or email you?
Whereabouts are you? I had to cancel one as the shipping costs more than twice what ebay charged.
Ohhh. Ok. I understand. Thank you. I will see if I can find other arrangement.
