I love watching all your videos. You have inspired me. It has changed my life. I found out I had cancer in August it wrecked me. I went through surgery in November. After that, I wasn't myself. I was so depressed and stopped living. I found one of your resin videos, and it sparked something inside of me. This was the beginning of February. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm crafting! It keeps my mind busy. You never know how your videos change people's lives. Thank you, and God bless you. ❤
🎉me too with illness she certainly gets us inspired when your down. Sending you positive vibes and love 🎉😊
❤😊❤
Sending everlasting healing thoughts your way! I, too found out I had cancer last summer. I know that down feeling so well. I finally snapped out of it for the most part, but I find myself thinking less about it. I hope you continue to be inspired by artistic creations!
❤😢.I'm so sorry. Sending you HEALING Angels ❤😇 Praying for you ❤❤❤
🙏🏼 wishing you speedy recovery, peace and positive vibes
Was I the only one yelling at her to leave it alone!!! I was holding my breath
No, you weren't the only one, lol❤
NOT the only one! Found myself gasping, then holding my breath. 😅
I was as well . I don’t get why she always does that .
No I've been hollering for he to stop,, had to put my phone down for a few, go back, and she's still picking but now with a paint brush. Oh my gosh! Grrrrrrrr
Grrr you're all right lol!!! I was on the verge of pulling my hair out!!! STOP!!! PICKING!!! PLEASE!!! I waz thinking any minute now and all those luvly crystalz are going to fall off!!! But omg didn't it look amazing ... 🇬🇧 STAY SAFE 🇬🇧
Oh Julie, your so cute. I know you can not help yourself, but if you could only see me slapping your hands away...😄 I am always talking to you through your creative adventures, though you can not hear me. By the way being a lover of anything and everything sparkly, and blingy, I must say it came out so beautifully. Yay purple. 🙏🇮🇱🌎💜
Thank you for sharing your learning experience. I was sad for you when the pieces were breaking off. You did not ruin anything! We love your videos and willingness to learn and share your experiences.
Julie, I was yelling at you to stop picking. Lol love the way it grew. Beautiful ❤❤
Oh my goodness yes, she gives me so much anxiety 😂😂😂
I was also telling Julie to stop, lol. Especially when she said that she would have to be more careful, and then she was tapping it with the top of the brush. It was making my anxiety worse. I think I actually forgot to breathe❤
Wow, clicked because I’m a crystal addict and didn’t realise you were Aussie! I guess I don’t really know of many Aussie RUclipsrs! Probably because there’s only 26ish million of us
I was so entranced by the video I didn’t even realise it was nearly an hour long! As someone with ADHD I’m surprised I sat still got that long, it’s hard to make me sit still for even 5 minutes 😂
Much the same...can't sit still for very long unless I'm reading a really good book. But Julie's videos have me spell-bound! She's MAGIC! 💕😊 LOL!
I’m an Aussie, too. Sunshine Coast
OMG, I can't believe how real this looks. It freaking looks like amethyst. Amazing. Ooooooo, be careful, you're going to knock too much off, lol. She says as she picks them off with her nails, lmao. I keep telling you to put it down and you're not listening to me. 😉 Love, love, love this! xoxoxooxoxo
Thankyou, it was nerve racking
Me Too!! Stop Fiddling!! Lol!!😳
@PouringYourHeartOut can this be done with borax?
@@DramaMustRemainOnTheStage that's what I was thinking
FANTASTIC 😍😍😍❤❤❤💖💖💖
I never knew you could grow crystals. 😲How cool is that?! Thank you so much for sharing , Julie! ❤ The crystals with the purple is stunning but I am excited when you make the turquoise ones! One of my favorite colors. 😊 Absolutely stunning!
I'm only halfway through this video but I just wanted to say that you're such a champ to keep going. As soon as the one Crystal fell off, I would have stopped filming, deleted it all and then cry about it for a week. You're a real pro. ❤
So very pretty
Julie, this takes my breath away, WOW! I love it. This is another project on my must do list. You are a real joy! 🇦🇺🙏🏽❤️ Thank you
Ditto!!!❤❤❤
WOW!! I love this so much! I have plenty of small reptile hides my snakes have outgrown- using these for geodes is a brilliant idea. You are so creative+ this item is EVERYTHING! Thank you Julie!
I saw a guy use a larger receptacle under the solution, partially filled with water and ice cubes added. I believe he sped the cooling process up nicely.
Oh my gosh get the freek out that is amazing love this thank you
Oh Julie!! Stunning!! Even though you made me a nervous wreck when you were fiddling with knocking off the ones you didn't want. Lol ! I love making things with my grandbabies. They are going to love making these. One suggestion is that when canning preserves, there are tongs used to lower the jars into the water. It could be lowered in and then taken out . I don't know if it would work. Much love from Northwestern Pennsylvania USA ❤
Love my jar lifter! Such a handy tool!
Me watching every one of your videos is 😱🫨😮😲🤯
SO cool!!! 🤩😍
I love it... When I asked about adding color, that is exactly what I was thinking... Amethyst and also maybe Sapphire's and emeralds haha.... This turned out so beautiful...perfect.
This is amazing!!!!❤❤❤
Oh Julie! I am absolutely loving ❤ the crystal videos. This piece is Gorgeous ❤

Well worth putting it back in 2nd time it's stunning love all things shiny anyway made some crystals few years ago with Alum put in food dye had in cupboard worked perfectly still have some crystal (shapes )am calling them shapes because my grandchildren walked off with the best of them (well it was an experiment to do with them) definitely going to order some more Alum do it again great video Julie 👍
I hope, after it dries, you stick that baby into silicone and make a mold! It would be so beautiful!! 💖💗💓💗💖
This is amazing.
Nothing more stunning than a shiny Druzy crystal.
Please do a video on how to grow more with the seed crystals.
You can buy the dye from Coles or Woollies.
Please do a series of this technique with other colours.
Thank you Julie.
Gorgeous gorgeous ❤❤. I was holding my breath on the 2nd time when you started “picking” hoping it wouldn’t break again. I absolutely love 💕 this Julie !! I saved the video so I can try this. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us !
That is really awesome. I never knew you could do that.
Gorgeous

I have not made any thing not resin not crystal no silicoln well done
Hermoso!!!!!
That was heaps of fun to watch.
Alchemy! You will be creating gold next ! 😂 you are amazing!🤩 just had a thought! I know amazing! Could you use oyster shells as your base to build the crystals on?
I love it!
Ich bin begeistert, die Amethyst Druse sieht so echt aus. Ich liebe Amethyst und werde versuchen sie selbst zu machen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Demonstration. Ich liebe Ihre Videos. 🤗👍💜👏
I absolutely love this! I want to try growing my own Geodes!
Absolutely Beautiful I can’t wait to make this ty ty ty for sharing
Soo gooood
Sounds like your puppy were trying to get your attention. I Love Say Hello To All Of Us. 😊. The is also a impressive change of something different. But I Love It Julie cuz it's so much different of what you usually. Purple is my favorite color. Thanks for showing us all how you did know how to make those beautiful crystals.
Thanks Julie for another successful project, love them.
God Bless! Have Awesome Day Today Dear❤🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
So gorgeous & easy to do. I just love it & thank you for sharing ❤🎉
Maybe take some of the water (accounting for your measured volume) and freeze it. Then, zero out the scale with the measuring glass on the scales, measure the alum into it to the right weight, and add the boiling water so you don't have to microwave. Dissolve it and then add the ice cubes to quickly cool it so you don't have the crystal formation at the bottom. Give it a try, experiments are always fun!!!!
Maybe put a couple of those little painting stand (little triangle thing acrylic pouring videos use?) to hold the geode up off the bottom and have less chance of it sticking to the crystals and breaking sections off??
Wow Julie, you have created a very realistic geode. My grandson collects rocks. He would be very impressed! I must share this with him. Thank you for sharing your gift and your enthusiasm! Debbie
I'm loving the crystal growing videos Julie, it's beautiful. I'm very lucky to own several different crystal caves. Yours looks so real, it's beautiful❤.
O my gosh I wish you would have left it just the way it came out! It’s beautiful! Thank you so much for showing me this process I can’t wait to try it!
Awesome Video and Awesome Geode crystal cave😊
Absolutely wonderful, Julie !! 😍🥰💜 I was so sorry for you when part of each side fell off. Finally, you found the solution and I really like the result. 🤩💖🎩 Congratulations and thank you so much, Julie @Pouring Your Heart Out. 😍🌹❤️🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🪻🌹💐🌹🙋♀️🇨🇵🫂🫶
It's sooo beautiful ❤ definitely wanna try this! (Some day) Honestly, I was holding my breath 😂😂 when you started hitting it with the back of the painting brush 🙈
Thank you Julie, Beautiful!
It looks gorgeous!
Your puppies did give me a start when they barked!
😲😲😲OMG! That's beautiful Julie! You're braver than I am. I wouldn't have tried to take any of the crystals off because I'm so clumsy I would have ruined it. 💖😍
Wow! I'm so glad to be seeing something new! This is awesome! We learn as you do!
Very beautiful love the color. I just find this so fascinating I definitely have to try it.
Paint pouring extraordinaire, resin wizard and now scientist! I love it
I'm enjoying watching you play with making crystals. I did a project back in middle school... To see what would grow crystals and how big they'd get in a certain amount of time. I used salt, sugar and instant coffee crystals. Then baked them. All grew crystals... But I can't recall which he largest crystals in just the baking time. But thought I'd bring it up because you can try making geodes for a little cheaper than alum.
Love your purple one, looks like Amethyst ❤❤
Wow wow wow beautiful stunning centre piece on any coffee table and yes your fur babies made me jump but least you have a good alarm if anything not right xxx
Gorgeous!! From a fellow fiddler ❤
Good coloring works quite well for coloring th crystals
Your geode looks absolutely amazing!!
💜💜💜💜absolutely gorgeous
You did a wonderful job! So beautiful!
Have I told you lately how Awesome you are! Such a gorgeous job well done! Love your work!❤🎉😊

Keep experimenting ❤ it is so much fun for you as well as for us.
Huge thanks for sharing your works with us us, they are very inspirational.

Stop messing with it. That’s what I was yelling when I was watching your video. It absolutely stunning. I never tried doing this but I just might.
🎉you have got my brain fizzing with ideas another craft to add to my list lol 🎉😊
Love it
Great experiment, Julie! It worked!❤
Thank you so much for sharing this adventure. It is intriguing and exciting to see the progress of the project. I get as excited as I it in your voice. Have a Blessed weekend.
Very pretty. Thank you for this video.
These look do fun ! I can’t wait to try it
Thank you for a LONG video! I love it! I can't wait to try this ♡
Could you make a silicone mold of the cave rock that can be made from resin? Would the crystals grow on a resin mold? I would buy those .
So beautiful! I love watching your videos, and I learned so much from you! Thank you for all of the research that you do to bring us your knowledge and experience, and bring them to life!
Very pretty! Amethyst my birth sign color!💖💖💖
Get back on! 😂 it's ok. It looks great. Now u know & we learned w/u.
Could you, by chance, spread silicone to the back to the back to stop crystals on the back? Or even a silicone pad on the bottom to stop from sticking? Just a thought that kept me up last night❤❤
Please make a resin mold for these gorgeous creatures. I would love that!!!!!
That is BEAUTIFUL 😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
OMG....how awesome Julie, it is so beautiful 💜 I'm sure the black bits that you saw in your bowl was debris from your shell.
Absolutely gorgeous Julie
Julie. This is beautiful. I've used borax and it works amazing. I coiled up some pipe cleaners, and put it in a borax mixture with color, and it came out looking like a little rock crystal. I'm definitely going to order some aluminum sulfate and try this way. You're a great teacher & inspiration
So freaking cool!!!!
If you dont want chrystals on the back maybe you can put the hollow part down in a shallow layer of the liquid, so they will just form inside?
Julie the color variation and uneven areas make it appear more real. Beautiful
Amazing!
I love crystals. That is gorgeous
Thank you, Julie! Definitely answered my questions. Stunning.
You are so creative and inventive! 💗
Beautiful ❤
Maybe paint the outer surface with something like a latex masker? I don't know if it would survive the solution, but worth a shot.
Also, natural amethyst often has a gradation (I think from lighter at the base and darker toward the tips,) so maybe for a second batch of solution add more dye later on to get a darker effect?
And the dark spots are probably the dye sticking to minute particles of the alum in the solution, I suggest adding the dye to the water *before* adding to the alum (see my other suggestion for that.)
Now i must try this too!!! So beautiful!
Very pretty love the purple. ❤
Ooooh! Julie, what you did! 😍😊 Those look like amethysts, truly!!! 👍 *GLORIOUS!* You have GOT to make a mold of this, girl! That sparkle is *killer!* 💕
QUESTION: Is there anything you could use to coat the surface of an object so that crystals would *not* grow on it? Something that could be peeled off easily? LIQUID LATEX might work, right?!
Yes, RIT™ dyes are *famous* for not completely dissolving! Procion™ dyes are MUCH better!
