Creative grids makes a folded corner clipper ruler. I use it to make my binding angles. I think it would work great on this project. You wouldn’t need to trim the dog ears off the edges, the ruler takes care of that. Love this quilt design, I have a ton of layer cakes to use up. Thanks for this tutorial. Love your fabric, just used that fabric in a churn dash quilt.
I appreciate the simpler quilt patterns that can be used to reduce the leftover fabric from other projects. It would be simple to make 3 inch by 10 inch strips of dark and light and set aside for this quick pattern. I think the 3 inch triangles could be sewn together on pairs and trimmed to 2.5 inch half square triangles for a later project or to add interest to the border. Or a doll size quilt. You inspire me to do these quilts. Good instructions and tips.
Lovely quilt...I too would try joining strips as one does binding so no stretchy diagonal seam to join as one comment suggests. Is fabric Kansas Troubles? Lovely rich colours.
Another simple design that relies on color placement. Love it!!! Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
I really enjoyed this video and love the pattern. TFS 😀👋🇦🇺
Very striking quilt! Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering if the corner clipper would work because it would be a time saver.
I love the folded clipper ruler. Use it for binding strips all the time. I was thinking about it too.

A fleece backing is perfect for your quilt. Will be nice and cozy and the right size. I always look forward to your videos. Great job always.

Love it, so simple but affective. Colours are great.
It looks like Kansas Troubles fabric
After a long but fun day in my sewing room, I get to sit down, grab my hand sewing and watch you work. Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiration.
💝✂️ I discovered a way to sew faster and easier even as a beginner, I talk more about it in my channel, I hope it helps those who need it.💖❤️
I love this quilt. Going to see what fabrics I have to do this. Thank you for very clear instructions.
Thank you for the lovely tutorial.
You could use those cut off triangles and make cushions or little pillows with them.

What a clever quit pattern! Thanks for the instructions, they are clear and easy to follow! Definitely adding this to my quilt pattern collection!!!
This quilt would look lovely in ombré colours.
Sitting her on the Treasure Coast of Florida AND very cold . Good to see you.
Wow. It was beautiful today in the land of the sun (Arizona), when the sun goes down so does the temp!
You can make small pinwheel borders with those little pieces
Cute!
Love it!!

I do not cut the triangle off as it makes that a bias seam. I put the strips on each other with a 90 degree and sew from corner to corner
That was my thought ... similar to making 1/2 square triangle

Nice quilt. Just wondering why you wouldn't join the 3x10 strips as you would binding strips? Just curious.
You can use them to create a border for the quilt.
What is the layer cake that you have used. Love the prints and quilt
I know this video is a year old, but I love that layer cake you used - do you know what the name is? Is it available in your shop?
Corner pieces. Small pin wheels.
👍❤️😊
Where can I get the pattern for this Dawn & Dusk quilt
