We need to consider calling it an injury instead of a disorder; PTSI instead of PTSD. As pointed out in the video, medical science shows the changes in the brain as a result to the exposure. Much respect to all our brave men and woman in the armed services in all that they do.

As someone who served 20 years, deployed 7 times, with PTSD, the shear amount of effort to receive help is unimaginable. Must/many vets give up and self medicate.

America, please take care of your own first, especially the veterans who paid heavy price mentally and physically for defending America and American values. It is heartbreaking to see veterans become homeless after they come home with physical and psychological injuries from war.

We owe these men and women ! They should have all the treatment they need as well as any medical. Our government has ask them to serve and the people that are the true Patriots should want and need noting after doing what that have to protect and serve this country ! It is horrible how the government has served these people after they have all served the country so well.

Stop fighting needless wars that kills millions of civilians, and destroys cities and towns across the globe, so that American corporations can profit! - from an Army veteran
But yes, these veterans absolutely need care, as does anyone with PTSD.

Our post war doctrine was shaped by Roosevelt’s vision that all people of earth should have four freedoms: Freedom of speech and expression. Freedom of worship. Freedom from want. Freedom from fear. Noble and righteous causes that those who’ve adorned the uniform have strived to give our fellow man.
The United States is not a warmonger, but will will fight for what we believe in, and that’s something to hold your heads high over as a people, as a nation

Helping other people gain a degree of autonomy, or countries jeep their sovereignty isn't an imperialist act. Neither is defending the interests of our great country and those of our allies no matter how far away the battlefield
