- This walking tour of Positano was filmed on May 12th, 2018. Take a walk through the coastal village of Positano, one of the most popular tourist destinations along the Amalfi Coast and in all of Italy. Positano began as a fishing village and is now known for its beautiful beaches and high-class boutiques. This walk starts high up on the hill and continues down to the beach where you will see the bright colored houses that fill the hills leading down to the coast. 🎧For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.

This is incredible, I’m noticing how clean the ground and beach is, there is not even one gum wrapper or leaf on the ground. That is a community working together to keep their paradise clean. Very beautiful!!!
It is a pretty small community and tourism is their main industry so I think they work pretty hard to keep it looking its best.

I have visited
Positano last summer and i have a bad memory where i cant recall moments that good. So when i watched this video i Totally relived my whole vacation there and it triggered my memories to come back! So i am soooo glad how you recorderd this video! I am truly thankfull

What I like most about this video in particular is trying to guess all the smells. Walking throughout all those restaurants must be really tempting.
I've often wondered if I should add captions about the smells as I go. :) Sometimes its pizza...or fish...or the sea air.
I loved Italy. I really love Italy since my teen years I dreamed of going there. But pandemic hindrance my dream. By now I view Italy it's wonderful cities through RUclips due to pandemic. Hoping that someday I reach this wonderful country. Thanks.

It is great. In the off season a lot of places are closed up. In season it can be pretty crowded though.

We did a Mediterranean cruise in 17' and spent the day in Positano and Sorrento. Absolutely fantastic places to walk around and take in the scenery and culture. The ride down the Amalfi coast is breathtaking. I'll be honest, it can be a bit hair raising as well. The street is very tight and the turns are tight as well. If you go on a tour, don't pay attention to other cars and buses, leave the concern to the driver. Sit back and enjoy the wonderful views.

Positano is incredible beautiful, since I was a child I have dream of Italy I am 66 and and I don’t lose hope of going on day but even if I don’t get to go, this video make me feel like I was walking trough this incredible place. a tip for whenever youll go there: don't follow the crowd of turists, that will ruin you experience. just go around and there is always something cool (a small church, a tiny cute building or a view on the sea), also for the food, dont go to turistic restaurants, theyre food is fine but not as the real italian food. what i wrote is not just for positano, also for the big cities (rome, florence, bologna, naples...). wish u a nice trip :)
