It wasn't the first time Muslims, Jews and Christians lived in peace and harmony, infact before israel came to existence, Palestine was a place Muslims, Christians and Jews lived in peace & harmony. but that being said, Ali did unite all 3 after a very very long time.

The whole world stopped what they were doing to honor Muhammad Ali and respect the Ali family. After that, the tragedy of Orlando happened; it's as if anytime Islam and Muslims are looked at positively something or someone has to 'ruin' that positive image. God bless you Muhammad Ali, rest in peace, and may you be a champion in the heavens like you were on earth.

That Jewish rabbi was somethin else, great, im Muslim but started crying at the Buddhists drums.. somethin just torred apart after seeing so many - so different religions leaders and minds and people of all kind give that much honest deepest respect to Muhammad Ali
If we don't take a big proof of how we should all live out of that, then we never deserved peace nor fought to earn it
May Allah grand him to Jannah, r.i.p my mentor in life ♥️

this is literally what Islam teaches us, Mohamed Ali was following the teachings of Quran and the prophet Mohamed PBUH, he brought peace to people, stood with them in times of hardship and spoke to them beautifully, and that is why they all came to his memorial, remembered only by his good deeds. what an honorable why to be remembered, for this is the true meaning of servant of Allah. ena lelah wa ena elayhe rajeoon, may Allah grant him the highest of ranks in Jannah.

One of the best recitation I've ever heard. May Allah SWT reward Hamzah Abdul Malik.
    Chapter 41: Verses 30-35
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained firm upon their beliefs - the angels will descend upon them[at the time of their death], [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.
We were your allies in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request.
As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful."
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims."
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.
But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good].

I was thinking, as a Christian, that I read somewhere that Islam traces its roots to Abraham's other son he had with Hagar. Then, with all the other religions, I realized that there is only one God. Man, we humans have really made a mess of that. Guess we'll now get back to the hate.

Islam traces it's roots back to Adam.
A Prophet in Islam just like Moses and Jesus etc.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the same Religion on 3 different levels.
Moses never wrote the Torah, Jesus never wrote the Bible.
They never intended for such a thing.
But they did pray face down...the same way us 2 Billion Muslims pray.
Prophet Muhammad is the last and final Prophet in Islam. He was given a message (Quran) from God to guide humanity towards the real truth, truth of all things. Anything you've ever wondered about life or the other Prophets. The Quran is a guide for humanity. On what happened, what will happen and what to expect.

Actually, in the beginning God created the universe and man. The man, he called Adam. Then, the various religions came later in time after the fall of Adam. Religions began when Cain and Abel disagreed on the way to serve God. Cain became so angry with his brother's way that he slayed Abel. God condemned Cain for slaying Abel because apparently Abel failed to see that God loved them equally. Today in that tradition, when we bypass that, first and foremost, God is peace and love, then we become arrogant in assuming that our particular service is the only way to serve God. Thereby, we replace peace and love with strife and hate. We replace man with God, the lie with the truth. I don't expect you to equate your religion to other religions; we are each entitled to our won understanding of the way to the truth. But you should realize that no religion gets to exclusively claim the first man, called Adam. Beyond Adam all particular religions are historically rooted in a particular man. Judaism diverges from Islam with the divergence of Abraham's two sons who had two different mothers. When Ishmael (Islam) was cast out due to the birth of Isaac (Hebrew), God had to console Abraham with the promise that he would make both sons into a great nation. When the Hebrew children and nation of Islam relate in strife and hate they are acting in the ways of Cain and Abel--not the ways of God who is peach and love. This is what I came to see while watching this interfaith service.

IMO, it was prophetic that Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay. He was named after a great 19th Century American abolitionist. Ali was a major figure during the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s and his popularity among both black and white fans helped to promote integration. So the first Cassius Clay helped end slavery; the second (Ali) helped end discrimination. May his memory be eternal.

True that! I grew up in the 70/80’s & I knew at least 5 individuals named after him including one 1st cousin of mine, I grew up in Europe (france) and we are from Algeria.. That Man Muhammad Ali was so respected worldwide that he could have stopped an international conflict just by intervening..incidentally “Muhammad Ali “means in Arabic “ praiseworthy elevated “ & that what he was! Allah made him for certain reasons praiseworthy and elevated him.. come on ! the only star on the walk of fame which was placed on a wall instead of the ground because he would never allow anyone to step on Muhammad’s name!! That man embodied what the words excellence & greatness stand for ..That kind that is a role model for millions of individuals worldwide , he forced respect and self questioning. And there is a sign from the creator through him & its legacy nothing happens for no reason ...
