ORTS: ATN Access Run in Southern NSW

A ittle 11 minute clip showing ex WAGR L class diesel locomotives on Open Rails running a 42x Heavy XGAY wheat train heading North tackling hills from Junee through to Illabo and tackling the climb up Bethungra Spiral at full 100% Raw power.
Locomotives featured on here is L270, L251 & L254 with the Sci-Fi names from 2002 onwards. One difference is the leading locomotive L270. It never had a driver's name on the real life loco back in the 2000s, The reason I did that change for this sim is a little tribute to my "late" mate, Sean Kelly. A late veteran driver from Victoria sadly no longer with us. I will not say the reason due to respecting his family privacy is to why. That's to be kept between myself and those who know him very well and who I told to friends who i trust. I put his name on L270 on this sim since that loco was as he call it. 'His baby" as that was his loco back at ATN Access. around 2002, 3 of 4 ATN L class locos were given Sci-Fi names as Sean was a massive Sci-Fi fan.
L251 received the name Q'trac 1000 ThunderBird 1. Name based from the Sci-fi TV series, Thunderbirds. The Q'Trac 1000 part if memory serves me right was Equipped With a Q'trac radio for communication. for me personally, L251 was my pride and joy, and the first locomotive I ever droven on 1st July 2001 from Junee-Henty on train no. 7JM1
Unfortunately, The class leader was sadly scrapped at Werris Creek by Pacific National on 15th July 2015, despite attempts to try and have it saved and preserved, it was unsuccessful as PN rejected to sell their locos to preservation societies which coarsed outrage within the railway community as it was Australia's very first SD40 styled built 3000hp locomotive built by Clyde engineer.
L254 received the name Enterprise NCC 1701 E, named after a spaceship from the USS Enterprise from the Star Trek franchise. Unfortunately L254 last run was in 2005, but was wuthdrawn after catching fire whilst running a ATN wheat train up with the Southern Highlands, was towed to Cootamundra for Storage and as a part salvage donor to keep L251 and L270 running in the hands of Pacific National. The only loco that kept it's ATN Maroon and Yellow livery until it was sadly scrapped in late 2016 at Cardiff.
L265 was going to have the name Tardis, based on the Sci-Fi TV show, Dr. Who. But before that was made, L265 was sold to RTS (year later to Interail) and sadly never gotten the name put in as that was going to be the name. Fun fact though, L265 today is the sole survivor of the 4 L class fleet owned to ATN now registered as LQ 3121 with ARG in Western Australia. Not too sure if it's still in service or is stored.
L270 was given the name "Red Dwarf" based on the sci-fi franchise Red Dwarf. Being the youngest active ATN fleet, it was as Sean said, the baby of the ATN fleet. This loco hauled the last ever ATN Access grain train from Sydney to Junee whilst owned to Pacific National at the time, the only locomotive to have the Clyde engineer graphics on it's nose hood in Wisconsin Central Maroon. Unfortunately, It too suffered the same fate along with L251 and was scrapped on 15th July 2015 at Werris Creek.

A LOT OF MY PROJECTS MADE ARE STILL BEING WORKED ON AND ARE NOT FINISHED! HENCE WHY THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD YET! IF YOU WANT THESE TO BE RELEASED. BE FUCKING PATIENT AND WAIT TILL I AM READY TO RELEASE THEM! KEEP HARASSING ME ABOUT IT. I WILL DOWNRIGHT NOT ONLY PULL ALL THE SIM VIDEOS DOWN BUT CANCEL ALL PROJECTS ALL TOGETHER AND YOU LOT WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY RELEASES!
