It was alright but work on mastering the groove before doing fills. Especially fills a little too over the top for the song that ruin the vibe of it. From a skill standpoint youve got something going for you but from a technical standpoint you should work on that. No hate though, awesome work!

To be frank it’s great to have the guts to play drums in an open area to a popular cover song. However, the question that has to be asked is what makes one a good drummer? To me consistency,strokes and dynamic control is awesome but the main element is to serve the song. It’s great to do chops but it has to be done tastefully and articulated well, he has great ideas but it didn’t come across well due to the fact that I felt that his fills weren’t tasteful in terms of dynamics/accuracy and tone precision. Just my two cents others may have other opinions on this. No use playing fast fills but it doesn’t sound clean at all. Tonal and dynamical accuracy > Speed. But with that said keep going and never stop drumming. Peace!
Justin Lu got that right. Speed is just an extra element. For me, consistency, accuracy, and control is what makes a good drummer. Professional drummers need no extravagant fills. Just being founded in the song’s groove and playing smoothly is more than enough. Great advice!

Here in northeast of Brazil we have a rhythm called "Forró". The way you play this music was pretty close to that rhythm and this is awesome.
Canal do kassio it was a Cumbia / dancehall reggae beat with unnecessary fills through out it that were off time
