I tried to start with both but soon I realized it was too much. Because I also had to manage my social media. So I set a goal: I gave myself one month to set up all my social media accounts, schedule my tweets for the next few months (like monthly or weekly repetitive tweets) and some Facebook posts as well. Doing just that on the first weeks (because I already had a decent audience on Instagram 1,9k followers), by "recycling" my Instagram posts allowed me to have more time to focus on setting up my blog and have a few posts already programmed for a few weeks after I launched it. Then on Instagram, I went back to all my pictures and optimized the hashtags with hashtags groups more related to the topic and added better texts to my pictures. Then I pause the youtube channel (never really started it) and focused only on my blog and sharing from my blog to other platforms. Now I'm one month in but my social media is doing great (except twitter, still can't figure that one out), and all the blog posts are optimized and I just need to keep going this way for another 5 months and then probably start with RUclips.

When I make a video, I would also write an article on the same subject (sometimes even the same outline) and publish on my blog. It's ranking on the first page of Google search results. So yeah I agree, it's important to show up everywhere, on different social media to boost the exposure.
I do the same. Sometimes the blog post can rank higher than RUclips. So what I do is to include the video in the blog post. So the blog brings views to RUclips and vice versa. It is a great marriage

Great tips. I personally know I'm more suited to blogging, but doing both is the ideal, if you can. But, as you mentioned, it's important not to over-commit. I feel that, once people reach a certain level on You Tube or/and Instagram, they do really need a website, for credibility. This can totally be a static site though, and not everyone needs to be blogging - but having no website can make you seem less professional.

Plus one thing I didn't mention is that since we don't own RUclips or Instagram, we really don't know how long it's going to be around! But your website you actually own so it's something you can always fall back on to communicate with your audience.

I’ve noticed my traffic is lower too. Is it still worth putting in all this time and effort towards writing blogs? Love your content!💕
You know, that was one of the reasons why I decided to get started on RUclips. There is a big trend right now in podcasts and videos and I feel like less and less people are actually reading blog posts. But what I've found from shifting my strategy is that there are people in my audience who still favor blog posts compared to videos! So I don't think blogging is going to die but I do think that it can be good to diversify yourself so you reach those people who don't have time to read your posts anymore.
I think that her hair color helped the channel a lot, the beautiful blouses, that her hair is beautiful, her makeup ... I say it because I am watching many videos of this channel, I just found it last week

I've wanted to start a blog foreverrr because I love writing and recently I just got a wild hair to do both at the same time and I'm wondering if I'm setting myself up for failure. I was thinking that I could create the video and basically utilize the transcript on my blog and maybe expand on things a little on my website. I have my first opt in idea and I'm paralyzed like a goof cause I'm afraid of new things. Any advice?

For youtube, the reality is that you need MONEY: a computer to edit, you have to pay for it. i7 or AMD(800US). A camera, if 600US and up. Software, not the trial version. I'm using Ubuntu Studio and I save the money from the software other than that I have a better user experience than with my ex windows and the mac. My new channel is this my old channel is violindelis.
