  • Jaime Ibanez started his snack selling business in High School and now, at 23 years old, he has over 50 Vending Machines that make a combined $35,000 in gross sales each month! Jaime started in the Vending Industry with no prior experience, mentorship or money. At 18 Years old, Jaime bought his first machine shortly after graduating highschool for $2500.. using almost all of his savings! Fastforward to today, Jaime owns more than 50 Machines; he stores his snacks and drinks in a 2300 sqft warehouse and his Company 'Vending Bites' has expanded to selling exotic snacks as well. Jaime, a Vending Machine RUclipsr, and his girlfriend Liz work the route 3 days a week and he says that this industry gives him the freedom to have a flexible schedule! In this Video, he shares his number one tip for anyone wanting to start a successful vending business, his favorite machine/equipment he recommends to all vending owners, where he gets his snacks and drinks at the best price, how to find locations to place your vending machine, when to know its time to expand in a bigger space or hire an employee and if/when you should give a commission to the business your machine is placed at!
    Jaime is the perfect example of success no matter your age; he was able to get into the vending industry because of its low barrier of entry and has consistently grossed 6 figures a year.
    If you are interested in starting a vending machine business or want to know how much money you can make doing it.. this video is for You!!

      You did a REALY good job, I was suggested this video, I am currently working on some new software and as I am listening and watching-this interview is very good. It really reminds me of a show called California Gold. Your style is very simular, you ask a lot of questions, but you also focus on the people. Its the people that makes the business your interest and of course the human side. Again- you did a very good job. I will check to see what else you got. The number of (VALUABLE) questions, is emense but educational.

    Cool video but very misleading title. He earns around 14k a month on 40% of gross, which 1500 goes to rent, probably another 5k a month on operating expenses, parts and repairs, etc, which leaves him with around 1800-2000 a week which is still a great side hustle if he indeed only spends 3 days a week on it. I'm guessing he is working every day though in some capacity.

    • @Boblib1970
      @Boblib1970 5 месяцев назад +11

      Not to mention sales tax. In Texas, vending is taxable at 6.25% but only at 50% of receipts. Thats another $1100 per month. In reality he's making closer to 1600-1800 per week.
      Furthermore, his girl also works with him and she's a big part of his operation, so divide that by two. They each make $800-$900 per week.
      That's still great. I've seen this kid before...he's awesome and they're both doing well. He and his girlfriend have got a bright future. But the title is either click-bait or Austin, like MANY people, doesn't understand owning your own business, and often conflate the businesses gross sales with individual income. There's a vast ocean of expenses between the two.
      As someone who's very familiar with the industry, I agree that he's working a lot more than 3 days per week. 420k per year in gross sales is moving A LOT of product. He may spend only 3 (long) days a week filling machines, but the other 4 are definitely filled with repairs, purchasing, accounting, and just THINKING about the business. Working for yourself is a 24/7 endeavor. It never leaves you.
      I just wish people would be honest and truthful in these videos. There are a TON of naive people who are being mislead thinking that this (or any other small business) is easy. It isn't.

I have 32 machines I’ve been in for three years an getting a location two a month I have to slow down because I just don’t have the capital to keep up machines are expensive an so are product. The more machines you have the more you work 3 days a week 🤣🤣😂 I’m always working on the business a machine goes down I’m out there that day or the next trying to stay ahead of the game you can’t be lazy owning a business let alone a vending machine company. @@Boblib1970 In todays world you have the brick and mortar aspect and the brand aspect. Sometimes these influencers make more off subs and views than sales. I can understand that the title was probably an effort to get more views but it still is just click bait, which I can understand, but don't have to like it.

Take only what you need for the day and pack those individual boxes in a larger container. They will serve as their own ice packs and should last you most of the day.....if you start early enough and work fast enough. 😉

    If your cost of goods is $1,50 you can’t sell for $3,00. The profit margin is too small.
    Usually :
    -1/3 is acquisition cost
    -1/3 handling, labor
    -1/3 profit
    So you should sell for $4 to $4,50 on an item that cost you $1,50

    One thing he didn't mention with buying directly from Pepsi or Coke is they will give you free machines and they also provide maintenance free on those machines. So that can be a major profit saver if the cooling unit breaks down as thats not a cheap fix. Plus they deliver to you which can save alot of gas money and time going to and from sams every week to restock product.

      @@AustinZaback Couldn’t find an LLC for this business name in Texas. These numbers seem inflated or fake. Also he sales $990 course reminds me of the trucking guru. Also to scale a business this big with only 2 employees 3 days a week doesn’t seem possible.

    • @AustinZaback
      @AustinZaback  9 месяцев назад +5

      He has a whole RUclips channel that breaks down his whole vending business. He’s the real deal. Idk about his LLC info but he and his girlfriend grind hard. He just recently started selling a course because he said people would reach out for his help and he’d answer their questions but never follow through, only asking the same things over and over. So he decided to put a price on the assistance he gives because it weeds out the ones who wouldn’t take it seriously. Can you blame him for putting a product out there when he devotes time to help people and it all goes to waste?
