Life is 10% of what happens and 90% of how you respond to that...One of the cool things about Tori and I living together and working together and basically doing everything together is that it forces us to practice patience and kindness and all the other good things. We can't always be in good moods or control flight delays or even feel ready for a video but those are things we can't control. What we can control is how we handle our feelings towards that situation. For example today, we had our video ready and everything and we felt like we were crushing it. Well... Then the video got flagged and we had to change something last minute, re export it, and then re do all of this information. We could have been super annoyed, and mad and whatever else but we said "hey this is happening let's move on and figure out what to do. getting frustrated isn't going to help anything". I know this is a juvenile example, but it applies to so many things. We have to practice responding to things in a way that will help a situation not hurt it..

Loving the podcast! Have been so excited to recommend to friends, and listen to it every morning walking the doggo before a day of online teaching - love your focus on God and his word, that you always point towards him and not yourselves. Also I normally wouldn’t be one to comment but want to thank you for your thrive Bible recommendation. I bought one for my Mum for Christmas and she is loving it, so much so that she recommended it to her friend in London and they try to keep up with the same daily devotional together (it’s the cutest) also got one for my sis (praying she’ll get into it) and mines currently on the way 😂 so thank you for all you’re doing!
