- Hey there. Chad & Tori here. We're back with another video!!!! but you know that. Which takes me to what you may be waiting for as you read this... Do we have anything up our sleeve? Any fun updates on projects and/or life? Well the short answer to both of those is YES. But before we touch on that I thought it would be fun to share a little fun fact about us!
Tori and I believe that we have the spiritual gift of hospitality! (1 Peter 4:9-10) We feel so blessed by our home, and we do our best to use it as a blessing for our community! We are so proud of our home, not because the things inside or the views, but because of how deeply we invest in it to make sure others feel welcome and invited as they come into our home. It really is a space we feel people can experience the Holy Spirit through our hospitality and we just get jacked thinking about ways we can use our home as a blessing to our community... We encourage y'all to lean into your spiritual gifts and invest in them. Ask God to multiply them for you so you can be a blessing to others!
kk enough of that! Check out the prayer of Jabez if you have time... It's a cool story! Okay, back to our regular scheduled program! We have finalized some merch designs which is exciting and think that you all will love them! Now we are just trying to find the best quality product and start ordering them and shoot content for the website! God alone knows how many times I rewinded to see the little typing hands and that laugh. We should give those hands a name. They are part of the family now. I always see comments on these old RUclipsrs accounts saying" I have been watching these people since I was 14 and now I married with two kids and still watch them". I want that to be me years from now unless you guys tire. But I really desire to see you guys grow and have a big nice home and family. I'm so excited for y'all I'm geeeeeeking

Dearest Tori, I’ve worked with candles a few times. What I usually do that you can try, is if you cut it up inside the jar breaking it loose and remove the hard wax, that way you can melt the wax on the stove in a old pot. You can just buy some candle wicks. Stick or knot the wicks point to a horizontal toothpick or stick that you can rest on top of the rim of the glass, to keep in from dropping into the wax when it cools down. Finally place your candle wick in your glass with your toothpick resting on the top keeping the wick straight, you can then pour the hot wax in. Let it cool down and harden completely. The closet space is huge!!! Especially for a place in LA, when I remember at my last apartment, my master bathroom and closet were smaller than this apartments guest bathroom and closets so we are very blessed! And awesome! I need to get tori to become a real plant lady haha

I have so many house plants! Pothos are super easy to keep alive, I have one that’s around 6 years old, and succulents/cacti are always an easy option as well Tori!

Hey y’all! I found y’all a couple days ago from Jess and Gabe and I’m so happy to have two more wonderful , respectful and learning Christian couple to watch! Thank you for you honesty it has already helped me for the future I know! Also Tori for the candle----- fill up with water like enough to cover the wax and if it is microwave safe (not metal lol) just put in microwave a couple minutes until you see wax melting and bubbling to the top! Let cool and it will float to top, and break off and out of old candle and you can make wax melts! I learned this from tic tok! Again love y’all’s channel and supporting from now on! I have a friend who always buys me little things for a home or things that represent hospitality because she always says that when I have my own home, it'll be a place where ALL are welcome and loved. I don't know if it's one of my spiritual gifts but I look forward to a time where I can curate such a home.

I love your apartment! The prayer wall is such an amazing idea! I love seeing how you guys really highlight the importance of prayer and making your apartment hospitable for others. Sometimes we don't realize that God answers our prayers because we don't keep track of how much He has done in our lives. Suggestions: Scrape out the candle wax and put it into a plastic bag. You can then heat up your wax in a wax melt pot (electric or tea light). Wash out the jar and either put battery operated fairy lights or you a few tea lights in it... Or you can use it for storage🙂

To use the rest of the wax, pour bouilling water in the glass and wait for it to cool as the wax comes up above the water and easy tho take it out then.
Then collect all the wax put in new container over heat with a wick. Thada!

@@ToriAndChad i'm amazed every time i read my last prayer , and it helped alot with my overtinking . everytime i overtink i ask jesus for help in a situation , and bam , the same week i got my answer in a blink of an eye . wow .
Buy candle wicks and mason jars from a craft store and boil the old candle and make new ones in the mason jars!!
That's smart! I wonder if we can buy them online?
Answering the candle wax question: Find a way to heat up your candle jar (ie. Boil water in a pot and put the candle jar on top of it?) Then when the entire candle wax is all melted, pour it into a smaller jar and put in a new wick to make make use of the rest of the unfinished candle wax.
Someone else said to try this! That is smart! We just feel weird because so much wax is left at the bottom and it almost feels like we missed out on 1/3 of the candle lol! Thanks for sending these tips!

Also, for the candle, I would recommend getting a candle burner or even a hot plate and meltdown the candle. if you want to make a new candle, once the wax is completely melted you can buy a wick from Walmart or Hobby Lobby and put it in the wax, let it harden, and then you have a new candle!!

Is it the capri blue volcano candle from Anthro?? It smells amazing!!!
Turning a candle to melting wax cubes...
What you need:
+ wax/soap mold
+pot big enough to boil water and hold candle
Innstructions: Boil a pot of water. Once its boiling, place the candle in the water, and place on low to medium heat. Wait for the wax to melt.
Once melted, pour into wax mold, then let dry and repeat process til complete. :))

Idea put the candle in pot of bubbling water so it heats up from the outside and melts it off the sides then you don’t have to move the wax to a different jar?
wait that is interesting! We will research this and see if it works!
