I definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Phone was going off non stop. Too many things to do. Just upset in general. Feel like there’s not enough time in a day to do the stuff I really want to do. Like get on better shape. Or relax. Etc…it’s not fun to wake up like that. It tends to shape the rest of our day. But it doesn’t have to be like there. There is prayer. You can press pause. Or cancel something. Or be late. To spend time to refocus yourself on what is really important… to not let how you start to determine how you end. After all we came into the world with a broken human nature and now we are made complete in Christ. So our spiritual start didn’t dictate our end. Don’t let it happen in your every day life.

Chad you are not “just rambling”. Every word you spoke resonated with me and God is definitely using you to speak to people like he did with me just now. I took down so many notes and I just kept on typing coz the words you spoke which I started writing, God just kept elaborating and revealing more and more and kept putting more thoughts into my head. I needed that and I know a lot of others did too.

I'm dealing with manipulative future parent in laws. What you said about being scared about Gods will is so true because I was so focused on not letting them "win" and myself being manipulated that i was losing sight of our ultimate goal; to die to what you want and put others above yourself.
I'm still debating on how to balance not being a submissive/passive Ahab (husband of Jezebel) which is wrong, while also loving others more than myself and dying to my wants and sacrificing my time and desires.
I don’t what it is (well, God obviously) but everytime you tell us you’re going through something and explain it, i’m going through EXACTLY the same thing! Right now, right these days i’m learning how to actually be joyful and HAPPY that i’m a christian, to enjoy and long for prayer, to see Jesus constantly before me, because He is. To be conscious of Him and not just say it. It’s hard for me to balance my obedience with my joy because i’m lacking in both, so much. But Chad saying to not be scared of the will of God really hit home. I would love a video about all of that ❤️

Just listened to your “Does that make you uncomfortable” episode on your podcast. Bro, I was literally sacrificing my health today,, super bad pain in my neck but I went to work,, I work in the social services department providing counseling services to these kids and their families… and I’ve been literally in 1 Kings for a couple of days grasping and floored by what God did through Elijah! When God shot that fire from heaven and wiped that alter of sacrifice clean I was like what a God we serve! As I’m listening to your podcast and you say “Elijah” and I’m like wow God,, You’re here You’re with me! God is literally connecting all the dots and saying to me your work is not in vain keep on serving! Like wow God! Thanks for being vessels for the LORD!! For the canker sore, put baking soda on it, it’s going to sting. Leave it on until it begins to dissolve due to your saliva, then rinse out your mouth, do that two times a day and your sore will be gone within a few days. My Dad taught me, I’ve done it for years.

Growing up, I got canker sores quite a bit. As it turns out, it was linked to me having a large amount of folic acid in my diet. I loved orange juice. I started to take a B vitamin complex every day, and I haven’t had a canker sore in over 15 years. My doctor confirmed that a deficiency in B vitamins can lead to canker sores. I hope that helps :-)
