I just paid $8000.00 for a brand new rebuild in Denver Co. My 1500 Longhorn had 120000 on it. Bad cam and lifters! It's like a brand new truck now without payments!

Every make and model will have it's issues. Maintenance is key to a long life! I'm looking at a 2014 1500 with 38K miles myself on Saturday!

15 laramie longhorn. I like my air ride but is expensive I've it starts to have problems but my favorite is the rambox. The only problem is the famous ticking from the warped manifold gaskets. Bought up graded one for $800 had them installed for $400.

Have a 2014 Ram Outdoorsman- it has been a nice truck. Had a few minor issues in the first few years all under warranty. Since then it has been a nice reliable 4wd truck. In that year the hemi 5.7 was a good value compared to other manufacturers and has been a steady tow vehicle. Good luck and keep up with the maintenance
