If you mean export from Gaea to Blender I already have a video on the channel. If you mean landscape composition or similar I could do it but I need to find the time
Badlands should be available by default. You can pick any nodes from the "Toolbar" panel at the left of the graph space ( you drag and drop them into the graph space ). Otherwise you can enable the "Show nodes categories in context menu" in the Preferences--> Workspace menu so when you right click you can select the nodes directly while working.
I really enjoyed this video, and I learned a lot by recreating the structure on my own PC. However, two things happened that I don't understand (on my version I mean). Firstly, the 3d view of the landscape remained a light grey - there was no colour at all. Secondly, all the nodes in the second group showed their names in red, with the word 'Error' underneath. I wonder if someone could help me put this right?
To show the colours you must select one of the colors node in the graph and it will show the texture up to that node. Regarding the error did you connect the various data maps using the portal ? Or in any case, are they connected to the final node of the first graph ? Sometimes it also bugs out on its own so in that case you should change the resolution to refresh everything or exit and reopen the software.
@@AndreaCantelli I'm going to update my version of Gaea first - there are other odd things happening, like I can't rotate the 3D view. Maybe that will fix things.
The terrain turned out great! Nice breakdown as well.
Great video, thanks for explaning your process!
Good work! These are really natural shapes
excellent thanks for sharing. 👍
amazing, thank you
Please make some Blender/Gaea landscape beginner videos.

Great videos as always
Ohh.. Seems like Bleeding Edge versions of Gaea don't have LookDev nodes :((
Awesome breakdown!! For some reason, I can't find badlands? I'm using 1.2 Ultra. Any Idea where I can find it?
