These are all such fantastic covers and are such great examples of the wonderful sounds the Nord Modular is capable of. It’s especially nice to see it used in such a musical context, and without any multitracking or effects. It sounds really good! I’m looking forward to hearing more. :-)
Just brilliant. I actually "clicked the damn bell" (something I do for very, very few channels!) just to be sure I don't miss the next thing you upload. Love, love, LOVE to see that old ST powering these amazing covers.
Great stuff. I'm lucky enough to own G1 and G2. So underestimated synths. I've had and have many many synths but nothing compares with possibilities and flexibility and sounding to nord modulars.
Marvelous! Really impressed that you've gotten all this out of the nord modular. When you write the drums take 100%CPU, does that mean for that particular slot? Otherwise I can't seem to get it to add up.
@@obsoletenonsense Ah okay, makes sense. Your drum slot which maxes out at 100% CPU and has 1 note poly, how does it create multiple drum sounds simultaneously? Asking since I just aquired my first nord modular G1 rack the other day, am still waiting it to arrive with the post :D
Take a look at the editor screens in my videos to see how my patches are put together. A single voice ‘Drums’ patch can actually be played ‘multi-timbrally’ by using multiple sets of oscillators, filters, envelopes etc, to create separate drum sounds, each triggered individually using a ’NoteDetect’ module and playable simultaneously.
nord leads and modulars are one of best synths for trance music

Unbelievable! That is so good.
Thanks 👍
Very cool, I didn't know that synth existed, I have an Arturia Origin which is kind of similar. Love the tune!
pure gold!
so cool... i tottally forgot you had to do CC on a separate track! Keep doing these, so fun and lovely to see and hear!
Thanks 👍

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, CPU is calculated for each particular ‘DSP Sound Engine’ slot, but higher CPU = lower polyphony.

What computer do you use for the Nord Modular editor?
I use an old Windows laptop just for running the editor.
