Terms of what got electronic music to be popular are really various, and I`m sure that it`s not only trance but the hype around whole culture, plus that euro dance stuff that was banging in the radios in the 90`s (of course epic trance tunes were included, but fortunately not usually, so the actual experience was reserved for those who went to the festivals)
***** you`re right, but that`s not trance by definition. 60`s and 70`s is still something called musique concrete, and it`s Jean Michelle Jarr who started putting some rythms in that music, together with for example Kraftwerk guys, and many more of them. it wasn`t trance, it was just melodic, rythmic, atmospheric music.
The song is like it’s on repeat but I could listen to that for an endless amount of time, it’s beautiful and kinda brainwashes you in the most wonderful way and takes you to a wonderful place that can’t be described. When you really feel the beat, it gives you chills and goosebumps like no other song. Unbelievably powerful
