I love it. Shooting with gloves is a whole different world for me too. What a first season man. You got three down and you’re still going. Keep shooting.
Go homie happy birthday ang go wifie!!!!!! Best hunting stuff i ever got came from the wife. Yhank god for good women. Love you homie your jorney is the best.
Appreciate the videos my guy! My son and I found your videos after he started archery a few months ago and now I’ve got my first setup. We are locked in to your journey, keep shooting!
@@Addiction2dreamz wow man thank you bro that means a lot….def go back and watch from the first episode and see how much I have learned and practice it took a lot but it’s worth…your awesome man keep being a great father
I put my release on first then my glove. Then I take my glove off when I am ready to take a shot. That's me. I can't shoot with a glove on and I have been doing it that way for ever. Really enjoy your videos and all your content 💯👊
Good job recognizing you need to practice that way because it does make a big difference having all that on . I always make sure i practice with my early season gear and my late season gear . Wisconsin in the late season gets cold as hell like New York
The glove or mitten thing has always been a hassle. For a long time now I just keep my release hand in my coat pocket with those little hot pads. If I wear a glove it’s a thin one with some rubber grip dots on it for gripping my thumb button release or my trigger one. Both the thumb and index finger part is cut off. I don’t know if there’s ever a win/ win with the glove thing? 👍👍
I got gloves like that and they are the best gloves I ever had with the fingers then the mitten part that folds over. When I went to shoot this year with them I learned a lesson it's not easy to get my hand in the rope thing when gripping the bow. I do like shooting with them on tho bc my hand feels more relaxed like I'm not gripping as tight.
Hey Bro check Under Armour Base layers. Either the 4.0, 3.0, or 2.0. I have the 2.0 they keep me plenty of warm here in Georgia. They help keep the bulkiness of a coat. Because a coat as thick as your wearing if I was shooting in that same coat it would get in my way
I need to do this at some point ...yup, good idea, just an idea for you, shoot with your fingers, it's awesome ... But yea, just a thought. I'm going instinctive shooting with my fingers and just a peep sight, but yea, might lose the peep sight all together... Good luck buddy, n happy holidays 👍👍👍
Use some spray foam in your target it will make it last alittle longer just cut off the dryed over flow and someone need to make glove that the release can come out though the glove by the wrist be great
When you conquer the tree stand you should put in for oryx, ibex and elk in new mexico. Almost forgot barbay sheep and antelope. Its all spot and stalk. We also have desert mule deer, couse deer, bear, mountian lion and javalina, oh and big horn sheep too😂😂😂😂
I don’t like bulky jackets, the string on my longbow keeps hitting my jacket and throwing my arrows off. I wear a heated vest under my hoodie and hand warmers in the pockets of the hoodie. I got some heated socks but haven’t worn them out yet.
I would suggest that you invest in tidewe heated bibs and jacket. The best investment I've made ever. I'm cold natured by nature (I have worked outside all my life) but sometimes the wind will cut you like a knife. Keep up the great work brother.
Oh and for that target go get tour self some spray foam at hardware store stick the nozzle in the target and fill in all the hole it was last you for a while again
Keep your layers baggy. If they are tight, the cold will go right through you. Put some of those hot hands hand warms in your front pants' pockets. Once I get settled in my stand, the first thing I do is draw my bow
