Some of your fans we don’t live in England and we don’t have the resources to be able to go to Villa Park; then we rely on blogs like yours to see the athmosphere etc. You are doing a great job and I really appreciate you go to all the games. I do would like to see more of the chants etc but I also understand it is your blog and you decide. Anyway cheers from Spain mate and keep up the good work

Fantastic video chaps, my first game was a 1-1 draw v QPR in 1978, I was 10. The moment I saw the AV floodlights lighting up half of Aston I was hooked, Best moment at Villa Park was seeing Juventus in 1983 we lost 3-1 but 7 Italian World Cup stars from 82 plus Platini and Boniek, what a team they had. Then there I was Barcelona in the Super Cup Inter Milan, the list goes on. I am disabled these days so I don’t get to go anymore so your videos makes me feel included. I love it. Thanks so much.

Love watching your channel, I’m a nurse on surgical day ward & love my job as I’m semi retired. Used to have a season ticket lower holt in the John Gregory, Martin o Neal good old days. Living just over the border mid Wales now and try and get back to matches couple of times a year. Your coverage of the international matches are great. Keep up the amazing vlogs.
I cried for Villa in 1981 when we won the league 💜💙 I also had a tear in my eye as they walked out for the 2000 FA Cup Final.

My dad worked in Villa park in his youth, he would always say he would always work on match days just so he could watch in the stands.
This was the 70’s, where most of the stands were literally standing only!
I'm 62 the good old days and they were.
Had a few tears when we lost 3-0 against Liverpool at Old Trafford in the FA cup semi in 96, mad week as we'd beat Leeds 3-0 in the league cup final at Wembley the week before.

There are quite a number of great Villa channels on RUclips that I subscribe to, but in my opinion VoT is the best. It's just the most fun. It's not bothering about the deep analysis (which we've all already probably got our own opinions on anyway), but focusing on the simple experience of being a fan at a game. For me it's a 240 mile round trip to Villa Park, which I do a handful or so times a season, and I stand no chance of getting an away game ticket, so this channel allows me to feel more involved than I would otherwise be. It is also very well edited - so well worth burning the midnight oil for, and I thank you. As it happened, I found myself walking behind Simon up Bevington Road before the Forest game last month. I didn't want to interrupt him as he was deep in conversation already, but what went through my mind was, 'he's a lot taller than I thought he was'. Thanks again, and here's to three points against the Yam Yams on the weekend. UTV
I'm from Singapore and I have never seen a match from a fan's perspective at Villa Park and away games. Thank you for always recording videos and sharing your views of the matches!

Really enjoyed this Vlog. Having been a Villa fan for ions as I lived in Milton Keynes, worked as a Social Worker and another Social Worker asked if I wanted to go to an Aston Villa Football Game explaining to me an American I would probably call it Soccer ! My 1st College had a super Soccer Team and we won a National Championship song ofcourse said I love Soccer. I went and became a lifelong Villa Fan. Saw you in Philadelphia last summer ! Thanks Max and Simon, you do a brilliant job in bringing match day experience to us down here in Melbourne. I was a season ticket holder on the Holte through the 80’s before I travelled the world and ended up stopping here. I absolutely loved away days with my mates, the away days we had for the one year we were down in the old second division under Graham Taylor were just brilliant and you’re the closest to bringing that sort of experience to my living room! Let’s hope the channel keeps growing and you can keep it all going, thanks guys 🙏

I think you had a lot to do with developing the 'on tour genre' There is a lot of clones out there. Yours is still the best.
I do think that there are two ways you could eventually go full-time.
1. You could provide a platform for 'on tour' vloggers across the PL and EFL.
2. The Villa fan base is expanding globally. Yours is the best portal for a Holt-end experience. Stick at it. You can only grow.
