    This is a ride I've been working on since December. The theme of the ride is a runaway train that stumbles into in ancient monument while exploring the Paradise Valley and awakens an ancient guardian. This ride takes inspiration from the mountain ranges of Morocco and the architecture as well.
    I tried experimenting with doing more with less when it comes to the scenery. I also had to tone back a bit with the scenery due to the park getting ~15fps on my old hardware and wanting to keep it above 60fps on my rig now. Overall I think I could've done a better job with this, but it was already a month later than expected and I would need a new set of eyes on this for the ride to improve anymore.
    Anyways it was a lot of fun to work on and thanks for watching.

    Very fun ride and smooth layout! I really love the cave interactions as well, going from the dark to light transitioned perfectly on this ride. Nice job! :D

    Loved the coaster. I loved everything about it. The music, triggered events, layout, nature, and last of all, the park. Do more of these types of coasters!

    Very good! Although the coaster is lacking supports in many places.

    • @noblemythics
      @noblemythics  7 лет назад +2

      Thanks. Unfortunately I don't really have much control over the supports though. Would be a nice feature for them to add custom placement options.

    • @Lexcoaster
      @Lexcoaster 7 лет назад

      Oh that explains a lot. Strange though that this feature is missing.

    • @Lexcoaster
      @Lexcoaster 6 лет назад

      Well, you can customize pretty much everything in Planet Coaster, so I guess they'd reckon you can build custom supports.

    Great coaster! It looks amazing and the layout is very smooth! But at 2:40 the loopings don't have support, not that I care too much, but custom supports would look amazing on this, imagine some kind of wooden supports which fits into the theme, like you are riding on something totally unsafe

    Probably the best Arrow coaster I've seen! Great theming, nice pace, the only negative I can say is that having three chain lifts it a bit too much, don't think there are any real coasters that have that, but other than that it was very well done!

    • @noblemythics
      @noblemythics  7 лет назад

      Glad you liked it. For the final lift hill I would've liked just a block section, but I felt like it worked better with a lift since lifts are quite a bit faster. I do wish they increased the max speed with the block sections as they do look more realistic.

      Tis Good I know, I've gotta give him credit for this outstanding work! These rides are known to be VERY rough. They're called Arrow loopers. I've been on three and none of them were good.

      LMAO, really...That's the worst possible advice I've heard. If I rode GASM or other Arrow Dynamics coasters the way U suggest...I'd be dead from the same type of injury that killed Dale Earnhardt.

    Chicken or the egg type question, what comes first ? The scenery or the coaster.

    • @noblemythics
      @noblemythics  7 лет назад +1

      I'd say almost always do the coaster first, but keep in mind what you want to do with the scenery so it all comes together smoothly. My process usually involves building out the station to a degree first, but that's just personal preference. The most important thing though in my opinion is going in with some sort of concrete idea of what you want to do, which saves a bit of time and frustration in my experience. In my case I usually make some doodles and grab reference before building, but that's not really necessary to make something cool. I'll try to finish up a video where I show a bit of the process I used for this ride.

      Thanks! I think this was inspired mainly by coasters at Disney Parks, and a mixture of some arrow rides I've been on in the past. Layout is very subconscious for me.
