This is a ride I've been working on since December. The theme of the ride is a runaway train that stumbles into in ancient monument while exploring the Paradise Valley and awakens an ancient guardian. This ride takes inspiration from the mountain ranges of Morocco and the architecture as well.
I tried experimenting with doing more with less when it comes to the scenery. I also had to tone back a bit with the scenery due to the park getting ~15fps on my old hardware and wanting to keep it above 60fps on my rig now. Overall I think I could've done a better job with this, but it was already a month later than expected and I would need a new set of eyes on this for the ride to improve anymore.
Anyways it was a lot of fun to work on and thanks for watching.
Music Used (all rights to respective artists):
Uganda by Matthew L. Fisher
Starfall by Two Steps From Hell
Very fun ride and smooth layout! I really love the cave interactions as well, going from the dark to light transitioned perfectly on this ride. Nice job! :D
Thanks a lot. Caves were very fun to make.
Jasken i think this is in Gilroy Gardens it was my favroite ride by now
Loved the coaster. I loved everything about it. The music, triggered events, layout, nature, and last of all, the park. Do more of these types of coasters!
The pacing of this ride is simply brilliant, the main lift hill gave me the chills. Awesome work!
LOVE the terrain interaction
Awesome ride! I really like these creative Disney style ride designs with all the theming and triggers involved with the ride! Keep it up :)!
Very good! Although the coaster is lacking supports in many places.
Thanks. Unfortunately I don't really have much control over the supports though. Would be a nice feature for them to add custom placement options.
Oh that explains a lot. Strange though that this feature is missing.
Well, you can customize pretty much everything in Planet Coaster, so I guess they'd reckon you can build custom supports.
One the bests overall coasters I've seen in Planet coaster, very good job!
Awesome work Jasken! Perfectly timed triggered ride events, very smooth layout and excellent theme and music. Thumbs up!
Two Steps From Hell! Great choice!
Sweet, looks awesome!
JAWSOME!!!!!!! this ride really is a treat love it
Fantastic theming and ride design. This was a joy to watch. Great work, man :D
Amazing Jasken, great scenery and a nice ride! Thumbs up for sure. -Tommy
Great coaster! It looks amazing and the layout is very smooth! But at 2:40 the loopings don't have support, not that I care too much, but custom supports would look amazing on this, imagine some kind of wooden supports which fits into the theme, like you are riding on something totally unsafe
I want to ride that beauty in real life... now!
Wow this is amazing! Very nice coaster
Very very good work guy! Excellent ride and theming! :D
lets take a short brake and let us travel back in time to the good old classic Rollercoaster Tycoon 3.
Probably the best Arrow coaster I've seen! Great theming, nice pace, the only negative I can say is that having three chain lifts it a bit too much, don't think there are any real coasters that have that, but other than that it was very well done!
Glad you liked it. For the final lift hill I would've liked just a block section, but I felt like it worked better with a lift since lifts are quite a bit faster. I do wish they increased the max speed with the block sections as they do look more realistic.
You can tell you used pre-made invertions since the banking is a little off here and there but yea great ride, nice and smooth!
I really want to go on that ride irl... good job! And nicely edited vid
Tis Good I know, I've gotta give him credit for this outstanding work! These rides are known to be VERY rough. They're called Arrow loopers. I've been on three and none of them were good.
LMAO, really...That's the worst possible advice I've heard. If I rode GASM or other Arrow Dynamics coasters the way U suggest...I'd be dead from the same type of injury that killed Dale Earnhardt.
Nice concept! I would totally ride the hell out of his!
AWESOME Coaster.... :)
The design and theming is brilliant!
My only complaint would be that last moments are unrealistic at best...
At 2:19, how did you make that face. This ride is incredible
i.imgur.com/JCqQTew.jpg . Basically just mashing rocks together with lights for the eyes and another light behind as a backlight.
Absolutely AMAZING!
You deserver WAAY more subs.
This is great. Well done.
super smooth
What a masterpiece! How can you realise red and green decorations on the walls and rooftop without any glitch? I have glitches if I put 2 pieces o different walls one inside the other
I really liked it!!!! :D Well done!
Awesome love these coasters
Amazing Work !
Chicken or the egg type question, what comes first ? The scenery or the coaster.
I'd say almost always do the coaster first, but keep in mind what you want to do with the scenery so it all comes together smoothly. My process usually involves building out the station to a degree first, but that's just personal preference. The most important thing though in my opinion is going in with some sort of concrete idea of what you want to do, which saves a bit of time and frustration in my experience. In my case I usually make some doodles and grab reference before building, but that's not really necessary to make something cool. I'll try to finish up a video where I show a bit of the process I used for this ride.
Just outright amazing. You should put your work through Coaster Spotlight by Channel5 Gaming. This work is way too good to be unnoticed.
I'm not really looking to grow viewership or anything like that, so probably not. That said, it's always nice to see what others think of my stuff because I am ridiculously hard on myself. Thanks btw.
Jasken it pays off. Awesome creation.
Just of this ride you got a sub!!!!!!
Damn bro this is awesome on my channel I'm tryna work on something like this sooo im recording the build to so I hope it turns out as good as this
omg it's fucking smooth
how did you put turrain and path in your blueprint?
and how did you make it into the steam workshop becasue its way over 4000 scenery?
The park file was uploaded to steam workshop, not the coaster itself.
impresionante!
Great coaster and park location. You should send a submission over to Johnny on Channel5 Gaming so he can review and enjoy it. :)
awesome :)
Hermosooooooo 🙈
Wow
kinda slow..
I want to ride that beauty in real life... now!
Amazing. Great scenery nice choice of music to match! Felt really smooth to, THAT LIFT HILL.. Very creative.
what the hell... definitely the best planet coaster coaster I have ever seen...
Thanks a lot. I would probably disagree you, but after riding it so many times, I can't really judge how good it is anymore.
I can imagine.
And link me a coaster you think is better than yours please, because I wanna see.
Linck192 You could check out my rides haha ;-)
Awesome!
More more
Hi, What is the type of coaster do you use?
I think it's called the looping coaster with the cars that say "American Arrow".
It seemed so innocent at first look, and then once I get on there's always that one drop, I made that mistake on the California screamin at Disney land, it didn't look. Like it was gonna take off yet it did, god my heart! Eh love the video!
The music is amazing! The coaster ofcourse as well, but I was so impressed with the music interactions!
nice coaster. I also liked the queueline
Absolutely Insane! U should send this to channel5 gaming!
Awesome, your coaster really shows how beautiful this game can be
What a beautiful ride. A joy to watch!
very nice coaster
should've gotten a b&m
Beautiful! I loved everything about this ride! Was it based on an Arrow design?
Thanks! I think this was inspired mainly by coasters at Disney Parks, and a mixture of some arrow rides I've been on in the past. Layout is very subconscious for me.
à sa tue se serait top bien qu'il font sa en vrai
gorgeous! love the setting, great coaster :)
Great intro. And then everything else.
No one has commented in one year Intel now

Gorgeous scenery and nice coaster
