- Hey! Today I'm going to show you how to root and install android 5.1.1 (or another) on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 WITHOUT PC, since all the methods on RUclips use PC, and if you have a Chromebook or don't have a PC, there was no way until now. The method will be the same for other models, using different recoveries and operating systems. I recommend having previous experience in the subject, since if you do not have it, you can brick your device. Forgive me if the video and translation quality is bad, since I have to edit with a low-end pc, and I'm using Google Translate. I hope to help you!

bro i have installed slimlp it worked but it is slow than the old os and i would say it not ideal because it sometimes kernal crash too so what custom os did good job with your device without lagging with gapps

It really worked. You have one mistake on links: On TWRP App: 1.22 works and 1.21 doesn't. That link quides to the right file.

I was at the point that I needed to select the twrp IMG file (3:01 in your vid) but my tablet got black and did not response. I did a factory reset but it won't start up again.
If I insert my memory card I can select the files to be installed but I get a notion that the signature verification failed for both the gapps and the espresso

What model do you have? (for example, p5100)

And be sure to follow the steps just like in the video! (flash the system and the gapps at the same time, selecting first the system, then the gapps)

There's a mistake on description. TWRP App (1.22) - 1.21 DOESN'T Work, only 1.22 so download what link is giving you.

Dude, that is not the tablet shown in the video! Mine is 10'', and yours is 7''. Search on youtube how to do it on your model.
And have you installed the twrp for the p5100? If so, you will have to install the one for the p3100

Are you sure you are pressing the power button and the volume down button? You have to keep them tight without releasing them until the recovery appears.

You just need to follow the steps on the video. If you have the p5100 or the p5110 ir will work.
I will explain the process easily: -> First you need to install a new recovery (TWRP) from the application (you download the .img file and flash it with the application) -> Now you have a new recovery installed, so you access it by pressing the key combination that appears in the video. -> Now that you are in the recovery, install the OS (operating system, in this case android 5.1.1) and the GAPPS (Google apps, for example play store or chrome) and once I do this, you restart the tablet. IMPORTANT: if when you turn on the tablet you get an error saying that the applications stop, enter the recovery and do the process again, this also works if your tablet does not start and stays on for a long time (although the first time it may take a long time turn on, so be patient

If you don`t have a computer , how are you getting the files onto the SD card ?
You can use a usb otg adapter, or putting the sd card in another phone.

You could install the stock ROM with a PC and Odin software and that would fix it 🤦♂️
