I did this in 2013, when I rode my motorcycle all around the USA on a mission to 'BAG' the 13 states I hadn't, as yet, previously been in, ALL east of the MS river. I started out in central coastal CA, first real stop...Key Wet, FL.....and six weeks later, with over an $11K motel bill, I did.

The bridge isn't that bad on a bike. Stay loose and go a little faster than the speed limit.
