I sold my whole collection around 19 then around 2016 you got me back into collecting ps1 ps2 started me out again, we r all waiting for more hidden gem videos lol
@@nickjohnson2726 bro me too i thought well emulators can run every old game why keep them. Ughhh i could hit myself. I still have quite a few i didnt sell and never will but i wish i had my huge original collection. I had tons of dreamcast, gamecube, ps2, xbox, ps1, and hand helds. Didnt have much for n64 . Also had lots of 360, some ps3 and few good wii games. Now i play wiiu, switch, xbox 1, and ps4. About to build a gaming rig too cuz i feel like im missing out on sooo many good games. Sorry for the long rant lol
The GBA is such a great system. My favourite games on the system is Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, Mteroid Fusion, and Pokemon Emerald. I don't think I have anything that'd be considered a hidden gem, but one that I enjoy that isn't mentioned a whole lot is The Invincible Iron Man.
Yeah maybe dont go for CIB. Many many people threw away their boxes. You could make your own boxes from Nintendo DS cases and thecoverproject. net and a good printer with glossy paper.
I bought a used gba and an IPS screen mod. While I'm waiting I'm parsing RUclips looking for game suggestions for when I get the Gameboy assembled, your videos are so dope and they're super helpful. I'm so excited to get back into collecting for the GBA. Keep up the good work
Glad you are enjoying the GBA with a backlight mod :) Definitely need more hidden gem vids. ViP, really suprised me. I would have never thought that game would be any fun.
I had MOH Infiltrator as a kid and I'd play the heck out of it. It was amazing, and the level of detail was always great to look at. I bought it as soon as I saw it because I already loved the MOH games for the psx.
Reggie is my favorite RUclipsd . Thank you for making all of the videos you’ve been making . It’s made this strange time easier . You seen like a genuinely good dude .
Lol! That Black Belt song about had me dancing, too. I can't believe I didn't know about that Altered Beast game! I guess I assumed it was a port of the Genesis game.
i had a gba back at launch but i only had like 8 games for it and only played 2 of those. its taking me 19 years but i am finally getting around to it lol. i finally got my flash card i bought 3 years ago working and ordered a ags 101 that should be here tomorrow. i cant get enough of this gba. i have like 20 must play games on my list and a few came from you reggie. thanks always
it still amaze me the variety of games in the gba library (platforms, fighting games, RPG, action games , FPS , etc), one of my favorite consoles of all time . I would add Lady sia to the list.
Your knowledge of games, developers, etc is impressive. I have recently become obsessed with playing GBA games, as it was a system I completely passed up on. You are my go-to-guy for discovering new games to play. So, thanks for all your hard work man!
'Tumble Pop', I loved that game back in the day. Also, V.I.P. does have a 'Rolling Thunder' vibe. I love 'Rolling Thunder', it's one of the two arcade cabinets I own (the other is Pac-Man). Great video, Reggie.
@@tokenblack7983 I've never played part 2 or part 3, but I did play a little 'Rough Rangers' (which was a HIGHLY derivative spiritual sequel) in the arcades.
@@tokenblack7983 It was actually fairly cheap; just a few hundred bucks. An older client from work who wasn't a gamer had the cabinet in his basement (I don't remember how or when he said he got it). I'd recently got a Pac-Man cab in my lobby and he mentioned having a 'Rolling Thunder' machine he had that was just sitting around. I was stoked because it was one of my favorite arcade games as a kid and he offered to sell it and he let me have it for really cheap. He even delivered it to me and everything. It was just a stroke of good luck.
+100 for Max Payne. That game is unique and super fun! My wife bought me the PC version years ago and after playing it, I had to get the GBA version. Cool game! This is a great list.
I love to watch these videos. I can't get enough of the GBA. 2 games that I really like but don't hear to many people talking about are the Bruce Lee game and the Scorpion King. Scorpion King is surprisingly good, it was made by Wayfoward
Great video! Thanks Reggie! Some games are totally unknown for me. But first of all I like the film Bullet with Mickey Rourke. I have the movie in my collection. Really great!
Thanks for sharing your picks and i enjoy your videos. Recently I picked up a used RetroN 5, used copy of Banjo Kazooie, SNES 8BitDo Receiver to Connect a PS4/Switch Pro Controller and all i can say is Wow! Playing GBA games on the system gives it a second life line to play all GBA games again. Will try some of your recommendations. Thanks again Reggie!
You really cant beat Reggies lists! I'd like to think I know alot about games but I always find a couple of new ones without fail. A DS hidden gems list please!!
Hey Reggie I really love your channel. Your thoughts on games and personal experiences are unique and very interesting. I dig the pick up videos. Also digging the recommendation videos too! Hope you can keep doing them for any system really. Now I'm on the look out for Black Belt Challenge and that Star Fox style game. I gotta go back through the video and write that down
Great video, always dig your recommendations. The fighting game reminds me a bit of Pocket Fighter. Iv been playing Wade Hixton's Counter Punch on my gba thanks to a suggestion you made on an old hidden gems video. Cheers mate keep it up
I just bought EarthBound on the eShop on Nintendo for a 2DS XL I love it so far just started playing at yesterday love you regi have a good weekend love you all and heavy metal Jesus and all them I subscribe and watch you all you guys make my day better and happier
Was just watching an older pickup video of yours then this pops up. Been enjoying these gba hidden gems videos I've been trying a few of the games out that your recommended. Thanks a lot reggie I've been discovering some great stuff keep up the great work buddy !
The real fun is to find games out in the wild then after that thrill is gone you just shelf them and forget it. You get bored again until you find more ...repeat over and over! !!
I like what you said that the Gameboy advance is pretty much the sequel to the SNES! And it pretty much Is! To me it's reminds me if the SNES was 32 bit this is what it would've been like! It really is a powerful 2d hand-held! I love the games on it!
Reggie great video, have you played boktai the sun is in your hands it's 1 of kojima earlier projects where you needed to actually put the gba in the sunlight to use certain attacks.
Reggie, thanks for posting the hidden gems videos. I didn't have a Gameboy Advance growing up so it's nice to see the amount of quality titles for the system. I owned the original Gameboy/Gameboy Color, and then I bought a 3DS years later. Keep up the good work!
Yea this helps me add to my collection big time. Didn't know about these! Yea more hidden gems Mr Williams. Seattle is also known for game grunge gems lol
Damn I want a advance with a better screen that’s awesome man I loved the comfort of the advance but the sp was my go to because of the back light and how compact it was
Wow, Europe absolutely KILLED it with exclusive GBA games. Between that Pinky and the Brain game and Droopy’s Tennis Open, among others, I think that the Europeans had the best GBA game library of all the regions. Wouldn’t be surprised if the GBA era was the burgeoning of modern-era Nintendo where Europeans got ALLLLLLLLLL the good game exclusives and we Americans got bupkis.
Awesome stuff! OMG that lit GBA! John from Intrigued gaming is the man! wow voice acting ina GBA game impressive! Star X was always a fun one for sure. very cool FMVs in that Hugo game. stange characters for sure lol. omg lmao getting a little carried away with the music in that game eh? Great stuff Radical Reggie! I am going to have to try some of these for sure! Thanks for the great content sir! Love these hidden Gems videos. keep em coming!
Medal of Honor seems fun. The rest, not so much too me. But youve already had done so many best off and hidden gems video's of the GBA already. Also together with MJR. I dont think there are too many left. What are your thoughts of fan made rom hacks? Currently im playing Pokemon Advanture Red, and its sooooo good. And its new, from february 2020. I've also played a cool Metroid hack. Maybe cool to dive into that.
I am surprised you didn't talk about Monster force if you love gauntlet and movie monsters then that is the perfect game. You play young version of these movie monsters but if you can get past that its a good top down shooter
I couldn't watch this video fast enough LOL 💎
I sold my whole collection around 19 then around 2016 you got me back into collecting ps1 ps2 started me out again, we r all waiting for more hidden gem videos lol

Will you guys make a fourth GBA hidden gems video? You guys forgot to fist bump in the second one.
"Sorry about that, got carried away there"
Disappointed to see Reggie not dancing
Reggie is the go to guy for PS1 and GBA game suggestions.
Always appreciate ur vids reg. This is a great era of games to me, the gba
The GBA was awesome :)
Hell yea bud
The GBA is such a great system. My favourite games on the system is Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, Mteroid Fusion, and Pokemon Emerald. I don't think I have anything that'd be considered a hidden gem, but one that I enjoy that isn't mentioned a whole lot is The Invincible Iron Man.
That's really cool of John to do. You got hidden gems on lock Reggie!
glad I bought a flash cart for my GBA SP.. because all those "hidden gems" and great GBA games CIB now cost $80~$100+ now
Yeah maybe dont go for CIB. Many many people threw away their boxes.
You could make your own boxes from Nintendo DS cases and thecoverproject. net and a good printer with glossy paper.
The Everdrive GBA x5 is an amazing device. Easy to carry the entire GBA library in your pocket.
Ik its crazy Omegalul

Very nice John 👊👊👊
Loved the Medal of Honour game as a kid! I thought I knew all the hidden gems on gba at this point but you surprised me yet again! Great vid :)
So many great games hey. I loved the GBA :)
I had MOH Infiltrator as a kid and I'd play the heck out of it. It was amazing, and the level of detail was always great to look at. I bought it as soon as I saw it because I already loved the MOH games for the psx.
The shooting level of Pinky & The Brain reminds me a lot of In The Hunt!
thought the exact same thing
Narf!

MR. RADICAL has done it once again, excellent video. Keep them coming, Radical from NYC 🤘🤘🤘
Spot on Elvis
What makes this video so great? That Bullet poster! What a great movie. I liked the rest of the video too, but man...freaking Bullet!
Pokemon, All Mega man Battle Network games, Mario, Wario land 4, Crash bandicoot and the Metroid games were my go to's with this console.
I always thought the GBA was a Super Nintendo handheld 🙏🏽
i had a gba back at launch but i only had like 8 games for it and only played 2 of those. its taking me 19 years but i am finally getting around to it lol. i finally got my flash card i bought 3 years ago working and ordered a ags 101 that should be here tomorrow. i cant get enough of this gba. i have like 20 must play games on my list and a few came from you reggie. thanks always

Years later , these videos are still great to watch again
Thank you for telling us about Black Belt Challenge! I had never heard of that fighting game before today.
'Tumble Pop', I loved that game back in the day. Also, V.I.P. does have a 'Rolling Thunder' vibe.
I love 'Rolling Thunder', it's one of the two arcade cabinets I own (the other is Pac-Man).
Great video, Reggie.
11 year old me in 1987 was obsessed with Rolling Thunder. I can hear the music now. Never played the second one though.
@@tokenblack7983 I've never played part 2 or part 3, but I did play a little 'Rough Rangers' (which was a HIGHLY derivative spiritual sequel) in the arcades.
Emperor Megas what made you get that arcade cabinet. Just good opportunity? I hear they ain’t cheap
