Great picks! Fun facts: Iridion was created by Shin’en Multimedia, a company that has its roots in the AMIGA demoscene (just google for the group Abyss and you'll find some of their older work) - that's why their music is always top notch. They are quite famous for their soundtracks of a lot of video games. They also created shoot 'em ups for the NDS (Nanostray 1 and 2) and created the "Nano Assault" and "Fast" series with Fast RMX being their latest game on the Nintendo Switch.
Blender Bros was my first GBA game I bought, great over looked platformer. I remember playing Konami Krazy Racers at Toys r us demo station way back then, decent kart racer. still got drill dozer tho!
Just ordered Lady Sia and also the Alien game you showed with the cartoon drawings but on the PS2. You’ve got some great hidden gems man!! There Re even more from this video and the last video that I’m going to order!! Thanks brother.
I bought Gunstar Super Heroes last summer when you did a review on it and loved it. My only nitpick was the helicopter levels were annoying but the rest of the game is great
I’ve been picking up these games right before one of these videos comes out, so I’m getting them right before the price spikes ;) haha. Just picked up blender bros, gunstar super heroes, alien hominid, and a few from your previous video coincidentally just before you post them. And yesterday I saw scurge at my friend’s house sealed on his shelf and wondered how I had never heard of a game with such cool art work, but now I know what it’s all about. Great video as always!
I love these hidden gem videos you do! So much knowledge on a deep library of games! I want to pick up the Gunstar Heroes sequel now! I had no idea about the Alien Hominoid game on GBA! Looks really fun.Never even heard of Blender Bros. interesting.... Great job on the video Reggie!
Great stuff Reggie. I used to own Scource: The Hive, but seem to have lost it somehow over the years. It may not be available in the PAL region, so i'll have to look over there. But I think Lady Sia is easily available, as is Gunstar Heroes. Will look into them when I have a chance! Always appreciate your videos, keep them coming! :)
darthboxOriginal careful looking for digital version of SCURGE HIVE. my ROM has a key missing that makes it so you can’t progress past 20 minutes into the game. Shame too, I really enjoyed what I got to play.
Hey man just wanna say big thank you for the recommendations. I'm a huge fan of the punch out games and I just finished Wade Hixton counter punch. Loved every second of it. I had no idea about this game and yeah just so grateful for watching your vid and seeing this game. Now I'm going to try drill dozer lol you sounded so passionate about it so I gotta give it a go. Love your vids man and thanks again
DUUDEEEE I LOVE YOU I was like for 2 years searching Lady sia game, I played when I was a kid and I loved but I cant remember the name of the game just the gameplay and his beautiful art and I was watching Videos about hidden good games hoping I could find it, rn I'm so freaking happy thanks!! (Sry for my bac English xd)
Reggie you seem to like all the obscure games I like its crazy... especially every RPG you recommend and "cute em ups" like Cottons, Twinkle Star Sprites, Twin bees, Harmful Parks, etc. And I just ordered Iridion 1 and 2 and Nanostray on DS 2 days ago! (I discover so many useful obscure games on modded XBox orig w/ CoinOPs 8...kind of like the emulator is the master demo machine for me before I buy the real deals) I def gotta watch more of your vids!
I actually just picked up Krazy Racers a couple weeks ago. I enjoyed it back in the day when it was new and I was working at Funcoland. Glad to have a copy again.
as the gba being probably my favorite console of all time, these are awesome for collecting because theres truly a ton of hidden gems on that console that I never knew about as a kid
This was edited on a phone? I'm surprised it didn't crash, especially with such long videos. Really appreciate the content and this is really good quality too
I watch a lot of retro videos, especially ones about hidden gems... Reggie you always surprise me by finding games I still have never heard of. Most of this list I had never played. Gotta check them out. Would love it if you listed the games in your descriptions though.
Another great video Reggie thanks. One thing have you played Car Battler Joe? I don't think I've seen it in any of your other videos and I feel like its one of the best gba games that no one seems to talk about
Another good video with good picks! I'm still campaigning to get Ninja Five-O covered in one of these or in the GBA vids you and MJR do, I think one of you mentioned you were trying to borrow it from someone to cover.
Good stuff. I actually knew about a lot of them (Alien Hominid was a favourite I didnt finish) because I emulated a lot of games and obviously saw a lot of names rather than just being trapped by what games had a lot of copies printed (and what region they came out in officially). Still a lot of games to consider and catch up on.
I saw you play the Wade Hixton game with MetalJesus... Had to pick it up... no regrets, simply amazing. Probably my favorite game on the system now. lol Thanks!
Is anyone else into Kuru Kuru Kururin? I just found my old GBA at my parents house and out of the 4 games there, the only one I remember getting right through is that one!
Reggie I'm o of at 7mins and 33 second as so far you have show off some of my favorite games for the game boy advance it kool to see someone else who has the same.car and love for certain game systems PlayStation and game boy advanced like every I have seen you show off on metals channel and yours it's like know I'm not the only person out there thinking the same games that are near and dear to us keep up the great videos and great sharing of games to everyone so they can enjoy some amazing stuff that me and you have gotten to play and other may not have I just had to say this first time I believe I left you a comment to let you know I really appreciate what you man
Despite the limitations on in the soundchip, the GBA version of Scurge Hive is much better when it comes to the music!! The soundchip sounds much cooler on the GBA! Because it reminds me of the FM soundchip of Genesis and PC98 alike! Very cool!!
Great list of GBA gems as always Reggie. I remember Alien Hominid back when it started as a flash game on Newgrounds. Totally forgot that they ported it to the GBA.
I honestly believe back in the GBA days the whole 2 player mode was just a hassle for companies so they discluded it in most games on GBA. You needed a link cable and most people didn’t have a link cable as it was sold separately so the whole 2 player mode varied upon the game. Nowadays we have WiFi which makes those easier for the developers
It's a real shame Dad n' Me wasn't released for the Game Boy Advance. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Dad n' Me was a side scrolling beat 'em up also from Newgrounds and within the realm of Alien Hominid or Castle Crashers, it was every bit as fun and released in 2005.
Never played Gunstar Heroes but I wanna find a copy since I'm just now starting to explore Genesis offerings. But if I can't it looks like I'd still have fun with this one as well!
I love Gunstar Super Heroes and Drill Dozer. I've thought about checking out Konami Crazy Racers, Lady Sia, and Blender Bros but haven't gotten around to it. The boxing game I'd get if I came across it cheap, but really not that big a fan of Punch-Out. I think there is enough to definitely make a third video if you want to. I'd make a list but can't think of what was in the first video other than Mr. Driller and Astro Boy(another great game).
Love Alien Hominid, Super Gunstar Heroes, Lady Sia, Iridion (1&2), Scourge and Drill Dozer. - Alien Hominid, shipping was 3x more expensive than the game itself if you're importing from the UK. - Lady Sia, is fantastic and generally really cheap in the wild. - Drill Dozer, really should be in some sort of record book, it's amazing and definitely unique... also, it has a larger red cart shell due to a built-in rumble pak. You're not doing the game justice if you play it on an emulator, or TV I guess, do Gamecube controllers rumble? or rumble properly with this game? I'm going to to look into Blender Bros. and Counter Punch. I'm not a fan of Krazy Racers, I'll just stick to the Mario Kart series. :) Thanks for the video Reggie!
There are a lot of great SRPG's on the system, too: Super Robot Wars, Yggdra Union, Onimusha Tactics, Shining Force remake, FF Tactics Advance, Tactics Ogre, and of course Advance Wars. If you love these kind of games, get a GBA, DS, and PSP if you don't already.
One I liked that most people don't seem to know about is Rebelstar Tactical Command. It's more of a straight up strategy game like Advance Wars though, not much RPG to it.
Dude I got myth makers super cart for the nintendo wii and I have ALIEN HOMIDIN OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED I LOVE PLYIN IT ON THE GAMECUBE.ITS SO PERFECT FOR THE CUBE CONTROLLEF.
Lady sia was dope until i got to the sky village. Either the edge or her feet were causing me to fall. And her being overly animated made it hard to stop.
Jhon Antön Bird M. 😆. Well I have a old video of me show off gameboy games. I’ll make another one possibly, but I would have to section it into parts. It be one long video
I remember you did a NGPC hidden gems video a long time ago with MetalJesus. Think you could do a follow-up either with him or here on your channel? Would love to see you dig deeper into the NGPC library.
I really like your channel, Reggie. I’m a former soldier and a huge GBA fan too. Yes, please stop mentioning prices. You had guess Gunstar Super Heroes to be around $10 to $15. When I just checked, they are twice that price now. LOL!
Check out Tembo the Badass Elephant on modern consoles/steam! Also made by the Pokemon developers, but published by Sega. Excellent 2D Platformer! Not quite like Drill Dozer - but some similarities!
ROM fans, careful with SCURGE HIVE. My copy was missing a key about 20 min in. You cannot progress without the key and it turns the game into a demo. Methinks the developer leaked a ‘broken’ ROM to act as advertising for the low-profile game.
Great picks dude!
Great picks!

*writes everything down on a list*
Retro8bit that's a good thing sum ppl don't remember
Old school style
Just ordered Lady Sia and also the Alien game you showed with the cartoon drawings but on the PS2. You’ve got some great hidden gems man!! There Re even more from this video and the last video that I’m going to order!! Thanks brother.
Thanks for this Reggie. GBA is my favorite hand held and I still use mine today. Coupled with a flash cart I am unstoppable!
Luchador Beaux Everdrive??
odaddy 47 Supercard SD. Its nice. Lost a save once though!
I tried to find Drilldozer back in 2004 when I was in Florida on vacation but couldn't find it. Always wanted it. Great video with fantastic choices.
It's good to see someone besides me played Blender Bros. Thanks for covering it Reggie.
I bought Gunstar Super Heroes last summer when you did a review on it and loved it. My only nitpick was the helicopter levels were annoying but the rest of the game is great
Thanks for the Lady Sia recommendation. I've gotten way more enjoyment out of it than I should have for the price I paid.
All of these were awesome and as you know I just picked up Gunstar Super Heroes this week...gonna go play it now! Also TDK Keeps It Retro AF!!
So does RGP!
I’ve been picking up these games right before one of these videos comes out, so I’m getting them right before the price spikes ;) haha. Lady Sia is my next play-through! Great Video, Reggie!
Been watching you and metal Jesus for over 2 years love your content keeps us happy!
Smash JT yeah dude, they’re turning out to be a SMASH success
Lady Sia was one of my first GBA games! Loved it. Never heard anyone else mention it! Thanks.
I honestly kept repeating that Sony Playstation intro over and over, that sound is the personification of my chidlhood memories..
Great stuff Reggie. I used to own Scource: The Hive, but seem to have lost it somehow over the years. It may not be available in the PAL region, so i'll have to look over there. But I think Lady Sia is easily available, as is Gunstar Heroes. Will look into them when I have a chance!

some seriously good games in this list, love your hidden gems videos reggie, keep it up.
i got Gunstar Super Heroes last year. It's killer!
Thanks Reggie, again some games are added to my wishlist.
A part 3 might be possible but so many gems arn't hidden anymore. It might be hard
This was edited on a phone? I'm surprised it didn't crash, especially with such long videos. Really appreciate the content and this is really good quality too
Great picks. Iridion II is pretty amazing. We should do another GBA live stream at sometime.
Also; Gear 3 = unreasonably good
What I didn't even know Gunstar heroes had a sequel. That's awesome. Counter Punch is awesome. Great Video
I watch a lot of retro videos, especially ones about hidden gems... Reggie you always surprise me by finding games I still have never heard of. Most of this list I had never played. Gotta check them out. Would love it if you listed the games in your descriptions though.

Krazy racers looks like Mario Kart with DLC from Konami games.
Looks fun.
Great video, Reggie! These look like some dope games thanks for the insight, man.
Gba videos are always welcome
Nice list man. I just picked up a AGS-101 a few weeks ago to rekindle my interest in the GBA.
Another good video with good picks!
I'm still campaigning to get Ninja Five-O covered in one of these or in the GBA vids you and MJR do, I think one of you mentioned you were trying to borrow it from someone to cover.

4.4k views! Long live Rad Reg. GBA is one of my top favorite!
Wow! This is the ultimate intro Reggie. PSX for life.
I saw you play the Wade Hixton game with MetalJesus... Had to pick it up... no regrets, simply amazing. Probably my favorite game on the system now. lol Thanks!
scurge is like diablo + metroid. i know i played it when i was in highschool but never beat it. got distracted by zoe and srt
Definitely getting that Wade Hixton Counterpunch
Is anyone else into Kuru Kuru Kururin? I just found my old GBA at my parents house and out of the 4 games there, the only one I remember getting right through is that one!
My gameboy came with Konami kazy racers it was the first game ive played in my gameboy so much memories.
Awesome vid reg, I remember getting Scurge: Hive for the DS way back and enjoying it a lot.

FINALLY! You NEVER hear anyone talking about Iridion ii, and its an amazing shmup for the system!
Man I hope your channel blows up!
Clayton Howard me to
I finished the gunstar heroes on the sega genesis with my brother back in the day. Great game
Great list of GBA gems as always Reggie. I remember Alien Hominid back when it started as a flash game on Newgrounds. Totally forgot that they ported it to the GBA.
I definitely remember TDK.
Had lots of tapes back in the 90s
I honestly believe back in the GBA days the whole 2 player mode was just a hassle for companies so they discluded it in most games on GBA. You needed a link cable and most people didn’t have a link cable as it was sold separately so the whole 2 player mode varied upon the game. DAT PS1 INTRO MADE MY SPINE TINGLE!! holy shit i miss the good ol days
Great video! Iridiom 2 looks really cool! I'm playing through Mario & Luigi superstar saga currently
But if I can't it looks like I'd still have fun with this one as well!
pretty much 9 more games on my backlist i got to get to
I love GBA. I need one for Fusion and Zero Mission. I wish I had the GBA SP AGS-101.
Great vid. I had no idea Gunstar was so unknown. I've been sitting on my rom of it for a few years now.
Dude Gunstar Future Heroes is my favourite gba game, instant like :D
gunstar super heroes is awesome glad i got a boxed copy for $20
Love Alien Hominid, Super Gunstar Heroes, Lady Sia, Iridion (1&2), Scourge and Drill Dozer.
Thanks for the video Reggie!
Please make more hidden gems vids. your good at it!
😆 it’s been awhile hasn’t it.
Thanks man, just built a GBA from a Raspberry Pi and I need some games for it!

Keep the vids coming Reg! Really enjoying the weekly uploads.
Cool video, man. Nice variety. Keep em coming!
Space invaders for the gba is my hidden gem
Thanks for the info, Reg!
Another review full of knowledge and cool games. Like always Radical support from NYC 🤘
I remember TDK for their video games based on the first Shrek movie.
Lady sia was dope until i got to the sky village. Either the edge or her feet were causing me to fall. And her being overly animated made it hard to stop.
hey Reggie big fan i was wondering if you could cover strike force hydra for the game boy advance
Matt Parker I didn’t really like that Game.
Are you gonna do a video about that computer u got to do editing?
abo7uson I’m still using my phone
We wanna see a review of all your GBA collection.
Jhon Antön Bird M. Who’s we?
I mean all of us who follow these types of videos and of course share it with the people we know.
Jhon Antön Bird M. 😆. Well I have a old video of me show off gameboy games. I’ll make another one possibly, but I would have to section it into parts. It be one long video
Radical Reggie I'd love to check out a long ass video of your gb/gba collection
Drill dozer with HD rumble
Oh you have your own channel lit
oh god.....hey guys your videos are amazing...
I had no clue Alien Hominid was on the GBA. Lady Sia looks rad as hell too.
Youre the best Regg.
I personally enjoy any of the Mega man battle Network titles. Great series of games
Reggie, I want more of your hidden gems on GBA...
Awesome video man. Love the vids, keep up the great content. ^^
I remember you did a NGPC hidden gems video a long time ago with MetalJesus. Think you could do a follow-up either with him or here on your channel? Would love to see you dig deeper into the NGPC library.
I've never really given the GBA a chance, but these games look great!
Subscribed.Thank you Metal Jesus.
I really like your channel, Reggie. I’m a former soldier and a huge GBA fan too. Yes, please stop mentioning prices.
You had guess Gunstar Super Heroes to be around $10 to $15. When I just checked, they are twice that price now. LOL!
Such good picks!
Check out Tembo the Badass Elephant on modern consoles/steam! Also made by the Pokemon developers, but published by Sega. Excellent 2D Platformer! Not quite like Drill Dozer - but some similarities!
In the list 6 years they also made HarmoKnight and Giga Wrecker, so yeah they aren't completely chained to Pokemon.
Game reminds me of a spin-off of a game of like ratchet and clank in its own way
Love this. I just got into the GBA, so this is a great tool to help build my collection
Reggie ,thank you.
your videos always scare my bank account lol look like i have more games to order now lol :) great video mate.
All fantastic games ! Long live the amazing GBA !! My favourite handheld ever.
You got the best taste in games bro.
Yessssss! Thanks Reggie!
I like these style of videos. Hidden gems and system favourites.
ROM fans, careful with SCURGE HIVE. My copy was missing a key about 20 min in. You cannot progress without the key and it turns the game into a demo. Methinks the developer leaked a ‘broken’ ROM to act as advertising for the low-profile game.
