I'm so grateful for this video! Not only do you show games that I've not heard about but you did your homework and actually explained what the games are about! Bravo! Well done!👏 This one made me start looking for titles I saw here!
Whether it's the writer or narrator, it's perfectly clear the person responsible has actually played these games. As opposed to the hundreds of videos reading ai generated scripts often with ai voiceover. Thanks for being an actual human.
I love Gameboy advance so much... Thanks for another forgotten games. Rhythm tenhoku looks a little weird and interesting, air force delta storm looks good as well. Thanks I'll check it out... I love this section of forgotten games... but I need more Gameboy/Gameboy color forgotten games :(
Crazy thing about Gundam seed is the sequel for gba Gundam seed destiny which unfortunately only came out in Japan had the entire battle assault game in it as an unlockable. Very enjoyable fighting game
Anytime anybody ever asks me what’s the one system I’d pick if I could only choose one and the GBA is my answer every time! The library is huge, it’s absolutely stacked with bangers, and it’s portable! Also a huge plus is that a lot of the SNES and Genesis games are also available with some pretty impressive ports. And did I mention ITS PORTABLE! 😂 Anyway great videos man, glad I discovered your channel! Keep them coming!
Racing Gears Advance and Gundam Seed Battle Assault look awesome, and need to check these ones out asap! Also, Chu Chu Rocket is an AMAZING game on the GBA that I sunk so many hours into. Excellent selection of games highlighted here that I'm intrigued to try out! Awesome video man!
Definitely gonna play Rhythm Tengoku, loved Rhythm Heaven and I didn't know there were more of them! Rhythm games can be so engaging, we need more of them. Hope Hi-Fi Rush revives the genre.
Can you make videos for gameboy and gameboy colour, theyre one of my fav consoles and I know that you can do them justice in game recomendations to everyone
Wow what a nice list ! I'd say for sure all of these (except the puzzle games) are for sure hidden gems I must try!! Keep up the good work, can't wait for video # 3 !!!!
Lunar Legend is an utter gem, the haters are just babies who miss their big box gems and fmv videos of the original source material. Placing into mind the GBA, its limits in resolution and storage, the game is an utter gem.
I still play the sequel to the Gundam seed Battle Assault, has an increased roster and everything, super solid game, great gameplay too, i love the little street fighter counter they added to your defensive options and they even give you an option for manual inputs for the specials figuring out fighting games is the best part of playing them
@@KevinArcade87 I was very lucky because an old friend had a copy he didnt want, only the cartridge, so it was cheap. But finding it anywhere else was impossible without paying a hundred dollars
If the attached game in the summary is any indication, I may own one of these forgotten GBA games already but I look forward to any other surprises and will be pleased if the game I'm thinking of shows up to be recommended. 0:16 - An what do you know; video starts off with Gunstar Future Heroes (what it's known as in the UK). It is true I don't hear many folks talk about this game. Discussion is usually around it's predecessor that has received many ports in Sega Collections, but as I've never played that original game, I only have fondness for this GBA sequel. 1:21 - This Green boss fight was a nightmare for me. The game looks great to this day and so fast paced as well. 2:16 - At first it looked like a fighter, then it looked like a Beat Em Up and now it looks like a Smash Bros like platform fighter. Though given how that health bar is designed, perhaps Dream Mix TV World Fighters is the more appropriate comparison. 5:41 - The Rhythm Heaven series started off on the GBA with this Japan only entry. It's kind of interesting, it seems exactly the sort of game you'd expect Nintendo to have made during the Wii/DS era but it was one generation ahead. So I assume the language barrier isn't much of an issue with this one? 9:07 - Interesting to hear that Chu Chu Rocket's GBA port kept all of it's DreamCast content. This was the first Sega game I saw pop up on a non-Sega system which had me very confused until reading about the whole Sega situation later in a Nintendo magazine. Such a chaotically fun game! 16:16 - I've heard of the Lunar series and assumed this was a new entry in the series; didn't know it was a port of the Sega CD original. Love the chibi sprites on display; so adorable. Gosh, I missed out on so many great RPGs on the GBA; I don't own nearly enough it seems.
Managed to complete it having zero japanese reading skills back then. But apparently from the footage here, a translation patch seems to exist so it solves the problem :D
Hopefully you'll feature Dynasty Warriors Advance sometime in the future. Koei Tecmo really knows how to make solid games and package it in small size. Not only the gameplay system was solid, the music is also epic.
I wish we got a fan mod for Gundam Seed Destiny that added the rest of the Gundams. I would be happy with another game but I know that will never happen
What is your favourite GBA game?
Probably Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. I loved collecting all the souls.
Solid game!
KH Chain of Memories for sure one of my favorite battle systems and collecting cards is awesome
Hard to say, probably Golden Sun
Metroid Zero mission is a work of genius. My favourite in the series.

Glad you found some new games mate! 🙂
Hearing the Guardian Heroes soundtrack during gunstar heroes is a nice touch.
Such a great soundtrack!
All these games would be awesome to see on the switch, with an enlarged screen and the ability to play coop on the couch or online would be fantastic!
I’ll second that 🙂
I loved all the Castlevia games on GBA, Wario Land 4, FF Tactics advance etc. But damn I did not know there was such a good Gundam game on it 😮
Give it a go if you get the chance. It’s a great little fighter!
@@thatvideogamesshow Sure ! Thanks for the discovery!

I have to check a few of these, they seem really good, thanks for another banger TVGS 😊
Glad you found something new!
I played the Gundam Seed game for a bit and it was pretty awesome. Reminded me a lot of Gundam Wing - Endless Duel on the SNES/Super Famicom.

Hope you enjoy it!
Racing Gear Advanced look fantastic.
Well worth giving it a go!
I wonder if any of the Klonoa games will be featured. Genuinely excellent wee games from start to finish.
Agreed
Another great video. Air Force Delta Storm looks so cool! I have to pick up a copy
Cars and Cars: Mater-nation are very good or decent options for the Nintendo GBA device. 😊👍
Finally someone speaks about Juka and the Monophonic Menace, great game!❤

Astro boy, Gunstar super heroes, all the castlevania games and Mario games of course.

I finally ordered a copy of Juka, and Lunar Legend is one of the best rpg's on the system, really fun to play!
Hope you enjoy Juka!
How much you payed for Juka?
@@KevinArcade87 I was very lucky because an old friend had a copy he didnt want, only the cartridge, so it was cheap. But finding it anywhere else was impossible without paying a hundred dollars
Juka and Racing Gears - both Orbital games!
Very cool, got a few new games to add to my collection
It's why I like these videos
Glad to hear it!
Just love the videos mate, glad I’m a subscriber
Plenty more on the way 🙂
Gunstarheroes shows the true power of the GBA
I did know about Rhythm Tengoku, but as for the others, I’ve never heard of any of them! I dunno how you keep finding these!
Plenty more to come 🙂
Some good suggestion here! Nice work.
I saw Lacus, I click!
Gunstar probably would benefit a lot from mGBA high-res mode. It would look even greater.
I actually owned the Luna legend game lol when it came out and traded it a month later after beating it

Woah Rhythm Tengoku!!!
Thanks
