Not even in hindsight, at the time this came out it was such a ridiculous attempt to excuse shoddy animation
@@codafett I wouldn’t say that. Keep in mind, Invincible is a professional production and animators on shows like this often have to take shortcuts like the ones demonstrated in this scene in order to make deadlines. Invincible’s animation is still leagues better than most western shows. However, taking a 6 month break in the middle of the season is a result of poor planning on the producers’ part. Clearly, they set their deadlines too early.
I mean, this joke would've landed better if this show actually have good animation instead this stiff ass animation lol..... they act like they produced something with One Punch Man S1 quality lmaoo....
It took me a long while to realise that schaff’s design was heavily based on Robert Kirkman, adding more on breaking the fourth wall as if that wasn’t enough
God I love, Tim Robinson.
People saw this scene, and they still want Invincible season 3 to come out early...
The fact that they’re literally doing the process of getting away with actually just animating nothing but easy ass drawings and still frames makes it ironic 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Trust me drawing these characters and backgrounds is not easy
It's not lazy, it's devoting time to more interesting parts by cutting corners when it's just talking, and honestly this show usually animates the lips.
And not just the lips; they'll actually animate the jaw movements as well.
and then you got demon slayer who spent the time they werent putting up episodes to make sure they release peak animation instead of wasting episode time to bullshit about how hard it is for western animators to do actually do their jobs while they spend a year sitting on their hands in an attempt to "build hype" for sorry shit like this
@timm2396 What you complaining bout exactly? Overworked animators?
@@timm2396 blah blah sho zhapanese. Shut up weeb
@@timm2396 Japanese animators have literally died from exhaustion in the past, their industry is anything but a standard to go by. Also, Demon Slayer would’ve done good to spend some of their animation budget on good writers, because man, that show sucks ass
