In NZ we call your lobularia, alyssum.....maybe that would help not getting confused with lobelia?
Love your bi coloured osteospermum......we dont get many proven winners as the shipping costs are expensive.
It woukd be great if they did seeds as an option.
Cant even get nepeta, cats pjs!!!!
Love your cool and hot colour planters, all looking so healthy.😊
Jo.
Yes we call it sweet alyssum here as well 😊
Nice garden ❤
Dawn you nailed it on the containers! Your choices are so 'happy' looking. They really are 'smile therapy'. How about a road trip to Montana and helping me with mine!:)
Thank you. Ha!! I’d love that!!!

Thank you
All of the containers are soo beautiful and gorgeous especially the bird bath containers and I love the urns with the orbs or spheres…the flowers are vibrant and healthy ❤
Thanks so much!! 😊
Just beautiful! I love that you put the tags up so that we can see them.
Thank you!! So glad this was helpful!!
Hi Dawn! Wow!! Your container plants are works of art! Each one you showed, I thought “this is my favorite” until I gave up and said they are all gorgeous. I really like the clay pots at the front and understand why they are some of your favorites.
The weather here has been wet and humid. Sorry about your caladiums; I have planted them for about three years with success; storing them in pots with layers of pine bark mulch in the early fall in the garage and planting in late spring. From 2 small pots, I have a very large container and gave 5 pots to friends. I like that I can grow them each season and the bulbs multiply.
We are traveling this summer so I haven’t planted much. The things I brought through the winter in pots and the perennials have to suffice for now. I will definitely try some of your combinations in the future.
Thank you for inspiring us and getting us excited about gardening.
Thank you!! Wow I love that you keep them from year to year. Mine just continue to struggle this year and I’m not the only one. I have 2 friends who purchased these Heat to Heart Caladium and they are pulling theirs out. I think I’m going to do the same. We’ve been hot and so so dry. I’m hoping for rain soon. Have fun traveling!!!
So Beautiful! Love those containers.❤ Those plant combos are gorgeous.
Thanks so much! 😊
You have such a great eye for color combinations!! And I love the pots you selected and the way you display them. The pot on the tree stump is so cute! A wonderful collection of blooms!!! It's hard to pick a favorite. I love them all. One tip I picked up is the triple brick border that you have. That's a great idea to add more weight to a border!!!
Thanks so much! 😊 yea I’m glad you picked up a visual tip!! That’s so awesome 👏🏻
Love them all, my caladiums got tossed this year same reason, my favorite is your birdbath pots .
Thank you. Yea what’s with the caladiums? 😡
The lime green plant goldilocks can be planted in the ground around Fall and you will have a ton of that plant for containers or ground cover. It Winters excellent ❤
Wow! The containers look so gorgeous!
Thank you!!😊
Pieknie..
Thank you 🙏🏻
Gorgeous Dawn!! One of my favs this year that I used myself is the peachy keen with purple verbena!
I love that peachy keen color! Great choice 😊
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Love your containers Dawn. They are so beautiful! Would you please tell me what is the green plant in the middle of the container by the doorway. It’s at 7:35 minutes on your video. Looks like a papyrus 😊 I couldn’t read the label!
Yes that’s Prince Tut papyrus 😉
Your containers are beautiful! I especially like the osteospermum! I will have to try that next year. I put gaura in 2 containers that are lackluster. They get full afternoon sun here in Chicago zone 5. Any suggestions on problem solving to get them more robust?
Thank you. I had 1 of 2 Gaura last year that didn’t do as well. No idea why. They don’t like to be fertilized so skip that.
just found your channel Amazing. Could you share the deep purple perennials that viewed in the side yard kind of behind the nepata Thank you for your time
Welcome!! So glad your here!! Yes that is Salvia Wesuwe. It’s such a great perennial!!
Beautiful! Do you fertilize? With what and how often?
Thank you. I use a potting mix with fertilizer to start. Then around July I start with Jacks Bloom Boost diluted maybe every other week.
Is it called a orb?
Yes
