WLTOYS K989 1/28 MICRO DRIFT RC UPGRADES UPDATE

As requested here's a little more info on the wltoys k989 up close, the mods are still working well, its great for a low budget rc, sneak preview of the new garage and may go brushless next who know. As always please rate comment and subscribe for more.

If you want to drift, you should have used the K969 instead. That one's specifically setup for drifting, and comes with drift tyres already installed :)

You can all so cut the shocks a bit two give you more travel but you would have to trim the drive cups to as they block how much travel you get I just found out for my self you can yous some tamiya kit bodys to as long as its 94 to 98 mm depends on what you got it set on standard is 94mm 👍

Hello sir, how did you fix the sticky suspension? I actually have the red anodized upgrades and just like your setup, the other side of the arms are sticking upward... do you have any advice for that sir? thank you in advance~!

I didn't actually fix the sticking, I've ordered some different shocks I'll let you know if it sorts it 👍🏻

You can make them awesome drift cars with a few mods bud all you need is kyosho front one way lock rear diff and do counter steering mod look a bevers hobbies channel he shows you everything you need two know 🤘😎👍
