There was some trademark issues outside of Japan that prevented the series from having the Biohazard title in the rest of the world. It's been years, I didn't go through all the comments, not sure if they're already mentioned but I'd like to add these. 1. How to trigger the hidden camera at the RPD gate If you did not trigger the spawn of zombie Brad, there will be normal zombies in the garden at the RPD gate. Just kill'em all and you'll be able to access the gate ONCE. If you'd like to see it again, get in the RPD and get out, and try the gate again. If you triggered the spawn of zombie Brad, there won't be normal zombies around the gate. Just go in the RPD, play til you see zombie Marvin and then come back out again, and you'll see the normal zombies. Kill'em and you'll be able to see the gate from the hidden camera. 2. Jojo also appears as a dog's name on B1 level dog cage room. There're two visible dog name plates, reading Rockey and Jojo. You can see the names better on Seamless HD Project ports (PC and Dolphin). 3. When Leon gets into Chief Irons' office on Scenario B, he can find some handgun bullets in the desk drawer, but this really isn't important. 4. Claire's Colt handgun isn't good at all. Most enemies (with zombies, dogs, G Adult, and G1 excluded) have invincible frames against the Colt, ignoring its 2nd shot from every 2 shots if you fire at Colt's max rate. This means only the 1st, 3rd and 5th shot actually deals damage. 5. The Anti-BOW gas actually reduces all lab licker and Plant 43's HP by 30 points. This really isn't very noticeable. 6. Claire's Acid Rounds has a chance to melt zombies' face. You just need to find a good spot where a zombie's face is very close to the camera. Everything else is really cool to know. Thanks.

A secret you missed is if you take the crossbow from Kendo and use it against a crow, there is a chance that the crow will be pinned to the wall. He too didn't know that could happen but was happy that he is still finding new things to RE2.
I tried to recreate this for the video and also tried to get a zombie to stick to the wall which I heard can happen. However, I coudn't get it to work. I may be playing the wrong version?

Thanks a lot for putting together part 2. I remember most of these as at this point I became obsessed with the RE franchise. It's also an interesting look back to shine a light on some one of the most disappointing aspects of the REmake 2... the lack of over lapping stories with a real A & B scenario. Regardless, forgot to leave a comment when you pushed this out. Try not to once I finish part 3 :).
I still remember that Resident Evil 0 was in development on the N64, and I saw some teaser pics for it. Never happened, so I was pretty bummed until they announced it for the GameCube.

@@CLUMSY101 I think it's got a lot to do with the short attention span people generally have these days. Like people that complain that 90s games were too hard. Same people that get defensive when they are challenged.
What I've never seen mentioned is that the weird lettering in the labs (ΔΕΣΚ02 ΛΙΓΗΤ01 ΒΕΔ04 - as shown at 12:15 ) is just the words DESK02 - LIGHT01 - BED04 with Greek letters. The same thing is with the lettering around RE1's emblem (both wooden and gold) that are translated to: "While there is life, there is hope".
How come no one ever talks about the episode of the British tv series "Spaced" that is loosely based on RE2? It uses the actual soundtrack of the game in the episode and I believe that episode is what lead to "Shaun of the Dead" being made. So RE2 is kinda responsible for that film.
You’re the very first guy who noticed just like me the Zombie Leon in the intro. I though back when I played the game in 2004 that it was just a reused model.

nah, he was called mr.x in the strategy guides when the game came out.
@@J0SHUAKANEBut the strategy guides aren't written by capcom devs but usually by third party companies though.
Mr. X has always been an informal monicker. It's actual "name" is printed on the transport capsule carried by the helicopter that airdrops the Tyrant onto RPD.
Brilliant video.
I'm a mark for RE2 and I've learned a couple of new things here.
Have my like and subscribe!
Thanks and Welcome! RE3 coming soon!
07:40 the chemical that kills the plant is also there, in the box right beside the emblems.
Never seen any of your channel before, and I've learned some new stuff here. Then I heard STP and you got yourself a new subscriber!
Thanks for checking it out, the RE3 one coming out soon should be a fun one too!
Omg, this video is so well produced! Incredible work dude! Subscribed!
Thanks! Welcome!
Awesome job and welcome back WB!
Thanksz!
This is really good
Thanks!
Really loving these videos!
The peace keeper gun Claire gets with her unlocked costume is the name of the gun Marty gets in Back to the Future 3.
No prob, thanks for checking it out
YO, THE KOBE REFERENCE! Damn my favorite athletic in one of my favorite franchises. I'm just going with it, lol but makes sense.
Great vid!
Thankks!
I still remember that Resident Evil 0 was in development on the N64, and I saw some teaser pics for it. Never happened, so I was pretty bummed until they announced it for the GameCube.
Lol the Gatling gun. An actual Gatling gun would’ve been hilarious instead of a mini gun. That needs to be an unlockable in an re game and you need to push it around and use one of the sticks to manually rotate the barrels
I swear to God, the developers behind these original titles (RE1/2/3) really known their jobs
Yeah, they did. My new fave for the last 2 years is RE3
@@WheresBarry So what actually happens to today game developers?? So many quick cash grab.
@@CLUMSY101 I think it's got a lot to do with the short attention span people generally have these days. Like people that complain that 90s games were too hard. Same people that get defensive when they are challenged.
Bold opinion.
@@mr.iiconic boldness is a virtue.
Great info, I havent heard anywhere
Oh yeah, I remember that I saw Mr. Bean's vehicle at the start of RE2. I've seen it many times during my playthroughs
5:30 Maybe a reference to zombie gorillas in Resident Evil 1.5?
How come no one ever talks about the episode of the British tv series "Spaced" that is loosely based on RE2? It uses the actual soundtrack of the game in the episode and I believe that episode is what lead to "Shaun of the Dead" being made. So RE2 is kinda responsible for that film.
You’re the very first guy who noticed just like me the Zombie Leon in the intro. I though back when I played the game in 2004 that it was just a reused model.
Miss you brother, thanks for the new vid!
Thanks for joining the Premiere
Awesome video dude be cool to see you do one for RESIDENT EVIL 4
20:45 Odd that with Remake 2, she basically doesn't even mention this...
You can trigger the main gate camera killing all the zombies in the yard + those in front of the other gate.
You don't have to kill the other ones. Just the two in the courtyard.
Please make a video on Outbreak when you reach it!
Awesome video. I didn't know a few of these but this reminder only further supports my belief that RE2R cut so much that made RE2 great. RE2R is good but is not even in the same league as RE2 when it comes to scope and repayablility
Yeah remake is basically 1 scenario they pretend it is 4, so much cut
Rebecca's pic in the desk was the only one I definitely found. And the leon zombie in the begining cutscene.
Absolutely outstanding video thanks for this awesome video!😎👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
This was a great video, Barry! There was actually quite a a few of these I never knew 👏
Cool! Glad to spread some new info. My fave 2 info in this video are the 2 tips to playing about the library window and the BOW gas. I learned those from Katastrophe.
something tells me some stuff got thrown into Dino Crisis
18:52 How do I unlock the 4th survival mode?
EXTRA EASTER EGG: the conference room in the RPD building looks exactly the same as the conference room in the first Robocop movie!!
Interesting! I never knew that one
@@WheresBarry Yes. I rewatched the movie back then and found it so funny: even some of the furniture, the objects on the top of the tables... the big doors... it's literally a copy of the room in the movie. :-)
Loving this series Barry!
Thanks! Just wrote the RE3 version...it took 3 hours to just write it, lol. NOw I gotta play RE3 100 times :D
Maybe the Redfields are a fan of Queens?
Great video! 👍
I think you've missed something , but i'm not completely sure. When you enter a secret part of the lab(where you need two sets of fingerprints) , there is a chamber that it seems something burst out of it using brute force(It's probably Nemesis) , and there is a big military grade suitcase that probably held a rocket launcher that Nemesis used in RE3. Check it out if you have a spare time.
Def a broken thing there, I thought it was a Hunter and that is why they added the Hunter in the 64 version. Looked smaller than a tyrant.
@@WheresBarry I apologize to you for not mention before , but i was thinking about PS1 version. But i'm not 100% sure , check the room in PS1 version , there should be big chamber when you click on it , says "Something burst out of here , must be big." Something like that , and there is a large military suitcase near it that's empty and it looks like that case carried a rocket launcher.
There's 3 enhanced Lickers in that room. Fairly certain it was lickers being created in those tanks.
The Wesker desk photo strip was discovered by somebody to scared to leave the Stars office at that part in the game...
Too creeped out to leave to the next room? Sit and click..
he should've screamed "ADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA wait"
Nice, great video.
thanks!
The REDRUM on the wall was not that clear on the PS1 so to me it looked like my name so I just claimed that I was sarcastically
I think the Calico M950 was able to be used on ps1 with the GameShark adapter on the back of the console and using the codes
thanks for the video
Love these kind of videos!
Thanks!
20:36 it's also same with ada & leon against saddler in re4
I didn't know you could beat the gator normally. I ALWAYS use the tank to kill it. I didn't know that was an option.
Finally someone mentioned Mr beans mini
Great content. I just subscribed. Keep it coming!
I had to post this comment on my main channel. How do you trigger to see Ben as Claire on 10:00? I did everything possible to keep coming back and still nothing, thanks!
Sherry can definitely be killed by the bugs. That was the end of my S rank campaign.
It happened to me in like 2019, and I couldn't believe it. I was basically taking a break during hte sherry part because I thought it was so easy.
@@WheresBarry Same here. If I remember correctly then the camera switches at some point which apparently confused me. Eventually I got my rocket launcher by copying a friends file on the memory card, but I think I died again not learning anything.
I think this happens if you don't button mash to shake them off easier.
