Guys! Before you buy this game! You need to know, there is a scene where Cal says "its survivin time!" And then he fights Darth Jar Jar. It's sick.

@@nissanzenkiboy I got deluxe, so I can't confirm, but I'm pretty certain that you only need to preorder to preload, and that it doesn't have to be the deluxe edition.

I like how we went from “there’s only ponchos?” To “give us the poncho or die”
My issue with it is that most of the ponchos in the first game looked either really plain or really ugly, and those that weren't were still too thin and weird-looking because they weren't draped over Cal's arms like a poncho would normally be. I get that it's probably an animation thing, because they'd need to put a lot more effort into cloth physics if Cal had the ponchos covering as far down as his elbows when he parkours or draws his saber, but it just didn't look right.
I love the *idea* of a poncho-wearing Jedi in theory, but in practice those didn't even feel like actual ponchos and just looked weird, so their main value ended up being meme value.

I hate it when games advance the main plot of a storyline in books it makes the book kind of an essential read if you want to understand how the characters go to where they are currently.

@@jdawg2309 I wouldn't say horrible, just mediocre. I actually don't hate the story (which is admittedly mid) or the fact that it focused more on Merin. Since the games are keeping the focus on Cal, I don't think its a bad thing to use the tie-in fiction to expound on other characters. That's kind of what tie-ins are for. I think the examination of the character's different motives in their mission was a worthwhile thing to explore. My biggest problem with the book is that it just isn't written well. The dialogue prose is really clunky. There are multiple spots where the author gives a bit of description, then less than a page later repeats the same description with slightly different wording as if she hadn't just told us that information. It make a lot of the exposition feel rambling and padded out.
The events of the book are certainly in continuity with the game, since Greez's missing arm and Cal new scar on his nose both happen in the novel. But I doubt any actual plot threads are directly picked up, other than the group being a it out of sync, which I'm sure they'll provide context for in game.

Facts. Sometimes the lead up can be more exciting than the game. I remember I was so immersed in last of us 2 when it came out but I cannot remember how I felt originally, just the build up
@@jonathanthompson7084 the closer it gets the farther away it can feel too, hopefully this games big jump in content and exploration does better at holding me over till the next installment. I think this game is gonna be crazy awesome given what we know, what content creators saw at the event and the effort respawn has put into making a better game every time they come out with something
@@jwlnsilver6354 been a while since I had hype like this. I’ve been on a star wars binge all month. Plus modding and re-modding Jedi fallen order on my PC has been a lil treat. I’m getting this on console since this game is toooo beefy for my pc to run it how it deserves lol
@@jonathanthompson7084 yeah I straight up bought a new graphics card to make sure I could run it properly on mostly high settings, the modding experience is sure to be incredible and I suspect it'll be a week and they'll have some wild stuff I don't wanna miss so yeah this should be awesome

I truly hope that you get enough points or at least can get it throughout the game to upgrade all of the skill tree, because I'm never a fan of having to choose how I want to play at the start of the game

They did an interview with GameRant where they said you could unlock all the skills, but not just with the main path.

Hi Andrew what kind of bosses will we get in the game. Also Cameron said that he loved the ending is it possible that cal gets a new padawan at the end
apparently according to leaks the gameplay is much more smoother and improved which sounds exiting but the story is not as good as the first game which is sad to hear but we will have to wait and see as the person who did the leaks played on the easiest difficulty and it may just be up to their preference
Unless it was a dev, i doubt this person had ANY taste of the story, as far as i know there was a game demo in las vegas but it literally stopped you from going any further in the game at a certain point, and from what i can tell, itll be another slow start like the first game, mainly because cal is pretty much alone again on his adventure, and has to recruit a new crew from what i hear

Just bought this because Elden Ring is taking ungodly long to drop Shadow of the Erdtree. KK is driving this franchise into the dirt, so i'm hoping for one last hoorah before it all comes crashing down.
Fallen Order annoyed the piss out of me but it was the best lightsaber focused game since Force Unleashed. Bout time i give this one a shot after near unanimous praise.

Also there will be a scenario where you gon play as cere against vader and cere will die against vader.

You know.. I think in the star wars universe, more people have robotic arms than non-robotic arms... I guess that is what happens when you play with laser swords.. I preloaded earlier in about 2 1/2 hours, all ready to go. Looked in the game directory, only 2 mp4 videos, the startup intro, and one other.
