The that's good to know, the one we have has the same exact engine as a d61. it will out push the new D61.We have all 3. D51, D61, D71, but our d51 is the tir3.
I have a 65 ex dozer, the joystick ( the turning joystick) doesn't work and. The dozer wont start at all with it in place, but it starts when its removed, can someone help please??
D51 runs a 4 cylinder engine. Not a 6 cylinder. I think the older 51’s did run 6 cylinder engine. But new ones are 4.

Your joy stick if it is electric, has gone bad, and is no longer reading its position, i would replace it if you haven't already.

When we purchased them, that was the pice at that time. i am sure they have bolth gone up from then to now.
