Mylo, I have been watching RUclips videos about screen printing for years. I just wanted to say that i have never 1 time left a comment on any video ever on RUclips. Ireally felt compelled to do so for you and your videos because in all the hundreds of hours i have spent watching videos on this subject i have never came across any that come across with quite the passion that you put out in your videos. It is very apparent you genuinely care about and rea)y enjoy helping people achieve something that is very hard to master. I think as an artist and creator your top shelf. More importantly as a teacher and a person you are most definitely one of the good ones. Keep doing what you do and thank you. With great respect and admiration for you sir.
You are the best. I'm currently printing with DTF and wanting to add screen printing to the business. Awesome videos and great teacher. Where is part 4 and part 5 to thos series?
you could also use a garden hose and a particular spay hose attachment that applies more pressure. I find the contact with the film to emulsion being more worrying without a vacuum exposure unit. I print my transparencies with a black and white laser printer. they work fine. Copy toner is pretty opaque. Good Demo. Thanks for the facebook tip.
Your such a big help man . I tried exposing my screen yesterday and it all came off once i rinsed it . I only exposed it for 30 seconds under A 50w led light . I assume I needed much more time say around 5 min ?
nice video! Soon im also starting again with screenprinting and i remember my exposure time used to be around 9 minutes with my DIY setup. My next setups will have a DIY exposure unit/box below the table where i will setup my screenprint press.
Hi mijo, it’s so good the way you show it, I love doing tshirts for my family but doing it thru cricut it takes for ever and I get stressed about it . But I didn’t know how to burn the screen …. Thank you so much
Man.... One of those small pump up sprayers from Lowe's.... Works wonders. U can also fill it with warm water. U can also adjust the tip from a spray to a fine stream. I paid $10 bucks for mine. Works great for fine halftones. Other than that excellent info.
Great videos. I am silk screening a white letters on a flat metal black powder coated surface and I'm hoping you can tell me which type of ink I should use for this?
Do you add a photo hardener after? Also, is the emulsion getting softer every time washing it to clean it after using it from inks without a photo hardener?
Hey Mylo, thanks for these videos. My question is on your transparency screens you have the words like “black” or “Mary gold”, how do you stop those from going on the shirt once you start screen printing?
Hello Mylo I have a question can you burn one detail image using two 8.5 in by 11in into a 20x24 screen?? the image for example will be the Aztec Calendar or Mayan Calendar
Thanks for the info man. I recently converted an Epson 15000 to use sublimation ink, do you think I could still use it to create the transparency films or would you recommend sticking to regular inkjet only?
Sir, I am a beginner in screen printing and using a semi automatic screen printing machine to print non-woven carry bag, cloth bag and some job work on paper. I would like to know what number mesh and colour should I use For best quality.
hey Mylo I just made my first two screens and used Blue Chromablue and both screens didn't develop up, a very light image but nothing good for printing, first one I exposed at 7 mins and nothing showed up the 2nd one I exposed at 30 mins and only a weak image what am I doing wrong????? I did all your steps

What's Your opinion on using vinyl as a stencil for screen print instead of burning a screen image?
Thanks for asking, this was my question too!

Yes of course

That's how we expose in India it's it's very cost effective for people like us running small business 😊
