@@ianna2321 I'm not so sure. Part of the problem today is that misbehaving children do not get the correction they need. It is the reason for the increase in crime, especially violent crime. The ability to forecast that someone might have a firearm in their house and know how to use it should be something that gives pause to would-be criminals of ANY age. The fact that this kid chose to try and enter the home of a single mother of 4 who has police documented evidence of prior break-in attempts says that she was right for doing what she did. HUD will only investigate discrimination charges, and won't help you with criminal ones against the landlord. There are so many lawsuits going in Texas that getting only a part of your possible $ 20,000 (max) is not enough for lawyers. Forget Civil courts, they are back up over 2 years making it even more impossible to get justice. Prayers are with you and your family. You have to be able to protect yourself and your family. I pray that you find a safe and better place to live.♥️
I would like to see her lease stating legal gun possession for protection is prohibited.
It does not matter how many times she was burglarized! She has the right to protect herself and her children! Pisses me off. He is a criminal and she should not feel bad because of his age. He made a choice. He would not have shown her nor her daughters any mercy.
The fact that he was trying to break into an eight year old girls bedroom makes me terrified. Of course, it could have been an easier window to jimmy, but it doesn't sit well with me. What would he have done if he noticed the child there? Even if she was asleep?
@@TiffWaffles he probably had already surveilled the house
I feel so bad for that young lady. She's a single parent and taking care of her children. She said she feels bad because he was 14 but he knew he was 14 and I'm willing to bet this wasn't his first burglary.
Yes but she needs to STOP HAVING SEX!!! She put HERSELF into this situation!!
Right... you're all about her rights. Next video you're posting "regular suspects".
How do you it wasn't his first burglary?? If you don't know for sure, then stfu.
@@CeeWorld69 where is this coming from?
@@CeeWorld69I really want you to go back and think about what you just said. Literally has nothing to do do with the conversation of defending your home...
What a terrible situation to be in. God bless her. I hope everything comes out ok.
Very sad, for both parties. Great mom protecting her children, and terrible parenting for the child that lost his young life. Stay safe everyone
She has the right to defend herself.
Nobody attacked her so you can’t speak about killing someone random cuz of assumptions
If that was a man killing a woman, the whole world would lose their minds saying he was misogynistic and killing a lovely teen girl..
@arianamontenegro5528 You're completely WRONG ! When someone has gone to this extent to break in, they are not to be trifled with - but act immediately. He could have been armed and she and the children dead - she was not under obligation to wait & see what he'd do or run with her girls away. CRIMINALS like this move very quickly.
And if it had been a man killing a 14 year old girl under the same circumstances, yes there'd be stupid bleeding hearts screaming 'how unjust' because they're idiots - girls can be dangerous too.

If you, and people like you, would stop defending criminals, there would be a lot less crime.
I would sue the landlord for infringing on my gun rights and safety.
Not possible. A private land owner can restrict you from owning a gun on his or her property. Violation of your constitutional rights only applies to government entities.

That's crazy how the apartment is evicting her for lawfully having a gun inside her home. She's covered under the 2nd Amendment and Castle Doctrine. I feel bad for her that she is now having to live with the trauma and guilt of killing a teenager, even though she did the right thing by protecting her and her children.
Whoever is in charge of the building told the 14 year its safe to break in... no guns allowed 😮
Texas’s laws on guns are getting a lot of people killed. The law, just like Texas’ anti-abortion law, is against common sense.
2a lawyers should be all over this.
Federal housing and feds went totally leftist that is why no guns allowed ,The Feds want to change Texas laws to be like California . ACLU same way .
Private property. They have rules of conduct you have to follow.
Praying for you! You did what you needed to do. I’m sorry for the young life lost. I know you will always carry that. Praying healing for you and the family of the boy.
You did your job as a mother and protecting your home 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Lord protect this woman!
Well he should have not of been trying to break into someone home. U have the right to protect yourself and your children.
Bless her heart! She’s being victimized by the apartment complex too.
Subsidized, which agency, they should be ashamed giving her notice to move ! Was there actual security ppl in complex, no way she should be jailed for protecting her family. Where is dad ! Damn Dad were you.
Shameful especially during the holidays!
instead of blaming her how about y'all blame the 14 year olds parents
Whoever owns the property should never earn another dime from that place. Go investigate that boys' parents.
She was victimized over and over and even contacted police and made another report the very night of the incident!
She didn't know it was a kid!
Teach your kids they can be shot if they are breaking into a home!
Evicted too?!
Someone please stand up for this mom of 4 girls!

YOU DID EVERYTHING A PROTECTIVE MOTHER AND WOMAN SHOULD HAVE DONE, ABSOLUTELY!...YOU SHOULDN'T STAY ANOTHER NIGHT IN THAT APARTMENT, WILD DOGS RUN IN PACKS?😔🤬

I’m glad she followed all the protocols and kept a paper trail. Disgusting how negligent that apartment complex was this may have been prevented altogether.
The window of her 8 year old daughter? Hell no. Protect your babies
He was breaking into the window of her 8 year old daughter’s room. She has the right and duty to protect herself and her family. Ridiculous for the apartment to kick her and her children out.
The question that should be asked is what is a fourteen year old doing at 1:30 am in the morning? Oh of course the parent thought he was sleeping In his room. Yeah okay.
Or he was studying late for his MEDICAL SCHOOL entrance exams, I'm sure!!
If the apartment makes her move they should be shut down
She needs to be proud she protected her kids.. And its messed up they are kicking her out for defending herself and her girls.
I feel so bad for her. Not only is she going through the trauma of having to kill someone to protect her family but being evicted and having to wait for a grand jury to decide if she'll face charges. Prayers for her. I hope things work out for them.
I bet she wouldn't face charges ,it's like the same lady in Chicago whose son kill a guy for punching her but even tho this case is kinda different the judge will hav to gav the right to her for being scared and act in self defence 😅and also act in protective manner for her kids and herself and put the blame on that 14 year old kid .
@thegamingzone5963 a judge has nothing to do with it is up to a grand jury and then a jury of her peers I guess the prosecutor could refuse to take the case but moving to another apartment is no issue if want to move after finding out they would rather allow you to be robbed and killed without no chance of having any defense
@@donnieharness2 yea I meant a jury .i must respect all the intelligent ones .
This is ridiculous. She SHOULD BE GETTING AN AWARD!
No rewarding is a step to far. You protect your home and yourself for your own benefit. You don't deserve a reward or attention for it.
@@hopelessedgelordwell said!!
@@hopelessedgelord what was the thought process that brought you to the conclusion?
@gianni_schicchi probably this thing called common sense
@gianni_schicchi The way I outlined it should explain it. You don't deserve an award for protecting yourself from a threat. The "reward" is nothing bad happening to you. You do not need to be put on a pedestal for protecting yourself. It's an incident that never should happened the assailant never should have created the situation.
It's your responsibility to protect you and your own, that being your responsibility does not then entitle you to a reward it's a job you have to do.
An apt complex said a resident is not allowed to have a gun? That seems legally shaky. Can landlords remove constitutional rights?
This is a good example of why we have the 2nd ammendment. A single mother being brave and standing up to defend her kids.... we need more people like her.....
You’ll get no answers when they know they’re wrong
So true.
Exactly!! 💯🎯
Ridiculous. He left and came back. I guess she should just wait up 24/7 to see what the 14 year old miscreant's intentions were for breaking into her little girl's room. Start charging parents when their kids are out running the streets doing no good.
Firstly, as a tenant in Texas, a landlord cannot tell you nor restrict your right to bear arms. This is an illegal eviction.
Sue the apartment manager for violation of your civil rights.
This mother was in the right!! She better not get in any trouble!! She was protecting herself and her kids.. she is a hero❤
She got evicted over this smh!
@@MiaMya396well if she agrees to no firearms then she broke the rules. I don’t like it either but if you can’t abide by them then don’t live there on the taxpayers dime. She could use that gun money to go get her own place that doesn’t have those rules.
A great lawyer needs to step up for this mother. She was protecting her own..and that 14 yr old knew the risks, but took them anyway. Prayers to her and to that boy’s family. It’s bad all around in this situation..Jesus be with both families🙏🏼Amen

A 14 year old with a knife or gun is just as deadly as an 18 year old. This case should not have been referred to a Grand Jury. The fact that her subsidized housing has the ability to evict her for protecting herself and her children is sickening. That law needs to be changed. Just because you're poor doesn't mean you shouldn't have the ability to protect yourself from criminals.
