To be fair Hyper Sonic, would realistically not struggle one bit against Seelk, since i don’t think he holds a candle to Nazo.

So damn true. Sonic RPG, Super Mario Bros Z... All these amazing creations and I was so sad as a kid giving up hope on any of them concluding.
Now after seeing this, I can finally stop with the annual googling for it and looking up wether or not its been finished.

The most intense moment of all 3 battles for me. That music just started playing and the SP started draining. Got me on the edge of my seat and I started panicking. This was when I truly knew play time is over and one mistake could spell defeat. This truly was an amazing battle to end the series.

@@alexanderthegrape2023 or you may be using the mighty drive during this part of the fight so hp doesnt drain but doesnt go up either. Anyways for me both hp and sp started draining and i started to panicking too like "Sh*t just get serious, alright its game time"

Guys can we appreciate the fact that we witnessed the end of a great web series! We should not take it for granted! How many series are out there who are yet to be finished or left abandon? It finally reached its conclusion and my god it was *spectacular!*
I agree. 90 percent of all the best flash/web series, especially from the days of Newgrounds, never see the end of their journey. Super Mario Bros Z is the most famous example I can think of. To see this one finally get closure, is really a blast from the past the likes I never thought would happen. So glad to be proven wrong
The only other one I can think of is Sonic Nazo Unleashed. Granted, The Wrath of Nazo is in production, but that is a sequel, not an ending like Part 3 had.

@Matthew Kuhn I know RPG and Seelkadoom belong to the creator; however, it still counts as a fan game because he doesn't own the Sonic and Nights franchise, right?

I can swear to you I cried at the end and I was sad to end the game after 8 years. This is the game that introduced me to Sonic and I'm glad there are more people who know this amazing game 😭😭

I cried. My English is not good enough to express how I'm feeling right now, but I cried. My whole childhood, my over ten years of patiently waiting is paid off. Thank you, developers, for creating such a masterpiece, for working so hard and putting so much efforts on this project. Imma play the whole series again.

I played episode 9 in elementary and here I am in highschool, holy hell this feels so unreal even compared to episode 8 and 9, this episode was just...on a completely different level of beauty, hud, voice acting, animations, gameplay, everything hit its peak in this fantastic finale and I don't regret waiting all this time for this
Yeah man, I played episode nine in 4th grade, and it was fun, but I was so frustrated that I wouldn’t be able to play as hyper. I’m glad to say that the wait was absolutely worth it.
Man I remember discovering this series when episode 5 was the newest episode. I used to play all of them in the computer lab in middle school alongside the FF Sonic X games. I remember thinking episode 8 was the coolest shit when it first came out. But Eps 9 and 10 just blow it out of the water.
I am honestly perfectly fine with us not getting episode remakes or a sequel, the fact that this series was not forgotten and finally reached it's climax is a blessing from God.
You know I even liked the part where Seelkadoom was all like “Ha see? Even your speed begins to betray you. So much for being the fastest thing alive.”
Gotta love his personality and his voice, If the game was 3D or made by Sega, He would have been The Best and Coolest Sonic Villain Ever

Anyway Yeah Seelkadoom most definitely would have been a popular character if he was an Official character because he is on the tier of someone like Nazo and Shadic in terms of popularity and funny thing about that is he was inspired from Shadic if that wasn’t obvious enough meaning if Nazo Unleashed wasn’t a thing this wouldn’t be a thing

I just came to a realization that Seelkadoom is just a corrupted version of Shadic (from Sonic: Nazo Unleashed). I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out, he is made from the DNA of both Sonic and Shadow. Meaning Seelkadoom, in theory, have the combine strength of the two hedgehog (I’m assuming at their strongest in base form). He also had all the Chaos Emeralds (amped by the sapphire) this whole time (for some reason), so taking all of that in consideration, he technically have an equivalent, or even greater amount of strength than Super Shadic as his “base form”.
This is the reason why Sonic, or Shadow, when attempting to fight Seelkadoom on their own (in other words, a 1v1), ends disastrously for either because they’re essentially fighting two beings combined into one, and powered by the sapphire amped Chaos Emeralds, all by themself.
Once Sonic and Shadow fought Seelkadoom together in their Super form is when they stood some sort of chance against Seelkadoom. Now he still had an edge against both of them, and it’s only when Sonic went into his Hyper form, that it seems he was overwhelming Seelkadoom.
That’s until Apex Seelkadoom came into picture. From what I saw, the two hedgehogs seems to be on par with one another, but I actually think that Apex Seelkadoom might be stronger than Hyper Sonic because like I said before, he’s “base form” is really just a slightly stronger Super Shadic, so when he taps into his “Super form”, he actually going Hyper form. So the “Apex” in his name is quite fitting ironically.
In all fairness, I could be totally wrong about all of this and it might just be me pulling things from my you know what area, or I’m just overthinking all of this. However, this does explain a lot about what we see in this fan game.
So yeah, that’s what I came to realize, what do you guys think? What are your takes on Seelkadoom as a Sonic OC (a cool one really)?
when I played episode ten I was wondering how base sel beat both supers and is matching with hyper (I forgot the story) the chadic thing makes sense

The Chaos emerlads amped by the Sapphire? doesn’t make any sense because that was never the case and the emeralds are from Mobius to begin with, where Seelkadoom was also born. Seelkadoom is rather created with the dark energy of the Emeralds by Eggman as confirmed in Episode 9, and on top of that Seelkadoom has the Emeralds. So Seelkadoom is acutally a fusion of Shadic and Nazo, though we still don’t know whether Seelkadoom would have a Perfect form like Nazo, beyond his Apex form or if he just has a Hyper form. Seelkadoom also has the DNA of Sonic which is the very same Sonic that has already absorbed the Energy of the Master Emerald in an incident in a battle with Eggman. All of this combined caused maybe a reaction in Seelkadooms body, causing him to be more powerful than Super Shadic, allowing him to actually touch Hyper Sonic, even though Sonic was unfazed. Apex Seelkadoom however is not him technically going Hyper because Seelkadoom is still using the CHAOS emeralds not the Super Emeralds. It’s his Super form.

@@dm3590I misinterpreted what Shadow said after completing Act 2. I thought he said that once Seelkadoom showed off the emeralds, he was also drawing power from the Sapphire. It was Sonic that was drawing power from the Sapphire (allowing him to go hyper in the first place), not Seelkadoom. So everything I said about sapphire amped chaos emeralds is incorrect. My bad!
One turn based fangame made Knuckles far more useful than the entire modern era did.

Tbh most side content (fan-games, comics, shows, etc) makes ALL of Sonic's friends/rivals more useful than most of the modern era games.
Shadow was awesome in the Archie comics, we got to see Super Silver in action the IDW comics, Mighty as well as Ray were brought back in Mania, etc
Time to dust the old PC and hop back into Newgrounds to put my childhood to rest

Damn. I have such fond memories of this series. I remember playing/watching it back in middle school. I'm a 26 year old man now, and I am unbelievably happy to see this end. I can tell that you really pulled out all the big guns for this finale.
This is the reason we need full-length games made by fans and indie developers. The art style, the music, the powers - this is old school at its peak.

Why is this NOT canon?!?! Seriously, Sega should hire the people who worked on this series! These games were absolutely phenomenal! I'd love for Sega to hire these guys and work on an adaptation of this series using the Hedgehog Engine, plus a few added extras for the fights. That would sell like wildfire!

I mean you’re free to disagree but, I feel like the reason we remember this fondly is mostly due to nostalgia. I played these games as a young child, but I feel it really doesn’t hold up super well now.

isn't reflecting on Sonic as much as it's reflecting on the journey of the creator of this series.
Sonic's Vacation... Where began the journey of his series, spanning over the course of a decade's.
This masterpiece shall remain a legacy for Fan creators.
I want to do some power scaling here, so I will.
Seelkadoom is consistently fighting Super Sonic throughout the story. In the final stretch of it, he gets somewhat serious and beats Super Sonic, the jester *(forgot his name),* Knuckles, and Super Shadow.
Seelkadoom is then shown to be able to physically damage Hyper Sonic as he has to bob and weave, dodge and cleave every attack Seelkadoom could throw at him.
Seelkadoom had the emeralds, but used them to such a negligible extent that Shadow didn't sense their power at all. He still didn't actually physically pick up the use of chaos energy from the emeralds until Seelkadoom transformed.
This means that base to base, Seelkadoom easily beats Nazo.

This game Remind me of sonic nazo unleashed.
The soundtrack heard in some scenes originally belongs to chaos legion, for example at minute 13:15 it is from level 2 of chaos legion and the one at 31:30 is from the prologue of that same game

This was overall the best RPG related sonic thing i've seen and does what the dark brotherhood should have done.

Finally the last episode, this was an absolute blast to play back when I was 8-10. The absolute refreshness knowing an old fan series which was awe inspiring has come to an end is something else.

I just realize that the story writing and character depiction in this series is actually better than the games SEGA make nowadays. Shadow isn't an edgelord just someone who wants to get done with the business and focused on the objective. Sonic isn't just a sarcastic douche but a character that gets serious when need to yet still remain the upbeat feeling normally. And knuckles isn't a complete idiot and shows some knowledge about the master emerald AND ACTUALLY BEING USEFUL. Sadly, this is the last one we'll ever get.
We have come a long way since episode 1. We just need final fantasy Sonic to be completed now
