In this context it's a detail, but in general, 1 mole of any substance doesn't equal 6.02e23 atoms but rather particles. The molar mass of water (H2O-molecules, not atoms) for ex. is 2×1 + 1×16=18 grams per mole. Agreed, in the case of U and C we have atoms. Thanks for the good examples regarding quantities of energy!

This might sound like it has nothing to do with what the video is talking about, but do you agree with the statement saying that Newton's first law is just a special case of the second (this statement does appear in physics textbooks)? if your answer is yes then what is the point of the first law for real if it is included in the second? and if the answer is no could you point out the misconception in this statement please?
You can generalize all three of Newton's laws as the same law: d/dt (sum of p) = sum of F_external I agree, N's 1st law is just a special case of N's 2nd law. The reason we have all 3 of them, is to reflect the way Newton phrased it in his original publication. It also helps to use N's 1st law as a baseline null case to set up our understanding for everything else. So it is for the same reason that we have Boyle's/Charles'/Gay Lussac's/Avogadro's gas laws, when the ideal gas law can combine them all. It's a reflection of history.

The way I see it, is that the second law is just a quantitative restatement of the first law to indicate the relationship between force and acceleration. I mean *you don't really need to know* the second law to say that if there is a net force acting on some body then its velocity won't be constant that is clearly stated in the first law (the part where it says "unless it is compelled to change by an external force acting on it") Now the second law tells you how you can quantify the effect of this net force on the motion of your system

I was calculating with the binding energies of U236 and the Barium and Krypton. If that is done correctly, does it produce the 200 MeV / Atom ? Or is that an oversimplified approach ?
