@Snorrason My understanding is that the idea of starting and ending in the same position is really just a JKA invention. Many Shotokan kata don't naturally come back to the same spot. For example, Hangetsu ends in a different spot, unless you modify the kata to deliberately reposition yourself.
@enta3omry293 What you must consider is that this isn't a Shotokan kata. I've heard that every single kata there starts and ends on the same spot. But in Goju Ryu it doesn't, actually it never does. For example, in Shisochin, you always end up a bit to the right from where you start. In Suparinpei, you usually end near the middle. But the rules have changed today and even Shotokan karatekas can even start and end on different spots.

He is more attractive than Milon but no way he can win on Milon , Micheal Milon is more power full more accurate and sharper also Milon begins and finishes the kata in the same place..but notice R.Abe finished the kata far away from the point of the start and that is one mistake from 5 or 6 Individual differences I can talk
