Congratulations! I know the feeling. Been there 6 times before. Most hikers I met returned for the second time with their friends and loved ones. Mountain aside, its also the Kadazan Dusun people that are friendly. There's also Trus Madi and Tambuyukon mountains closeby

Wow the hiking journey to Mt KK is indeed very demanding & challenging, you have also captured the many beautiful breathtaking views at the summit. Congratulations to you for another accomplishment 👍
In south east asia, highest peak is in myanmar china border but i am unsure if that is within himalaya range. However, mount kinabalu is the 3rd highest island peak in the world.
Thanks for sharing guys. 👍 what would you say to do to improve the sleep you had at the half way point. I noticed that website says don't bring sleeping bag. Was it the cold that kept you up?
Would you recommend the guide you hired? And is it possible to get to the summit without staying the night? I'm also assuming that it was just a one night stay?

It's not very cold and there is blanket provided. We did not bring sleeping bag and was fine.
