Yeah. We went at the peak season in April. You can choose off season which is very quiet, but some tea houses / hotels may not open.

I recall there was an entrance fee, which differed for Malaysians and foreigners. Our tour guide handled it for us, so I can't remember the exact amount we paid.

Is the shuttle bus from kl sentral to Thean Hou Temple still on ?
I live in Kuala Lumpur and drove to the temple each time. I'm not sure about the shuttle bus service. Based on my observations, I have not seen those buses when I visited the temple.

Thanks for sharing this video! Just wondering, what insurance did you buy for the trip? Most insurance company either doesn’t cover nepal or doesn’t cover hiking above 3000m anymore.
After much consideration, we decided not to buy the insurance. The main reason for our decision was the cost, and the ABC trek was not particularly difficult or dangerous. Nevertheless, it is important to consider all aspects, and one option we looked into was World Nomads.

It is very difficult for me to put down in words the feeling I have with Kampar. A town I grown up and studied. So much memories left behind during my childhood and teenage days, both bitter and sweet.
