- Your Computer crashed..or you bought a new PC.Now you want to add your ipod songs onto that computer and be able to add new songs on your ipod without deleting the others.Well this is a really easy free way to do that! Please subsc ribe.In this way you can see my tutorials that im starting to make.Im new here but I love sharing my experience.So if you need help regarding this vid just comment.

Had music on old ipod that I wanted to transfer to iphone. Worked a treat. Thanks for the help.
Also you can open the folders in the desktop and select all the individual items and drag in bulk to itunes I did 1040 songs in less than a minute! brilliant stuff

iFunBox was free and it got ALL my songs off my phone, they just have funky names now that I need to fix but at least I got them! THANKS!!!!
The iFunBox renamed like HALF of all my songs. Now I gotta go back and listen to them and name it the right name. This helps though.
thx dude, pretty simple, though i had to paste my songs on my other drive cuz my desktop didnt have enough memory
if you have windows 7 you have to go to control panel, then appearance and personalization, and then you can click on folder options.

if the songs cant come into the itunes.. open the 01 02 03... maps and take the wired name songs into itunes. IT WILL WORK ONE THE SAME MODE.. just take a longer time.. but it WORKS

@loveaffair79 If you have Itunes on your computer insert the CD while Itunes is running and it should prompt you to add the songs to your itunes library. If you select that option it may take a while for the songs to convert and add to your itunes library. If you use a windows computer Windows media player will do the same thing but it will add the songs to your documents. Hope I helped :D

@littlemisskinnyjeans Ok so for everyone who gets digital camera instead of ipod its probably because you are using an iPod touch or an iPhone.When I made this tutorial there was no bug in this method but now iPod users need to download and use this method on iFunBox instead of Windows Explorer instead.Just google it up and download it.

there is a better way of doing it by searching .mp3 or what ever your music format is in that folder you created on the desktop and then select all and drag it to itunes

easiest way, i know this sounds like spam but just download ifunbox, fine the file iTunes_control, copy it to your desktop, then copy it to your itunes, thats it
hey dude ive noticed that alot of people are sayt\ing that there ipod touches are showing up as a digital camera and youre not helping any of us. what do we do???
Great Video, its manage to bring them across but a large number of the songs are still in the crazy letter format ABEW for example...whats the fix for this?

Ok, I have an Ipod touch and a computer with Windows 7. When I try to do this, my ipod does not show up on in the computer folder at all. I know the cmputer knows it is there because itunes pops up. I can't access it. What do i do?
And if it helps, my ipod is not jailbroken.
i did this a year ago but i used a ps3 to extract the songs from my ipod i copied the music from my ipod on my ps3 put the songs on a usb stick and saved it on my cpu

It only shows me my pictures, and I can't find a ipod folder like you, mine just had about 3 folders I think inside each other to get me to my photos, please help!
Same here, i clicked to show hidden files and folders but it doesnt pop up in my computer, only under "scanners and cameras" I can only view my pictures =/

So much easier to just add the whole folder. Why would you open up each folder then drag and drop? File>add folder to library
im on windows vista and idont see ipod control or anything... everyone online is saying to take theese steps but it doesnt work 4 me?????
Ok I went through ALL the steps and once i finally transferred ALL my music to itunes it prevented me from listening or importing it into my ipod!!!! It says, "Original file cannot be found. Would you like to locate it?" and inserts an exclamation point to each song that cannot be found. I cannot believe Apple makes it so difficult to transfer songs already on your ipod! Shame on them!

I recently got a new laptop and I want my music on my itunes. I've been looking around online and following instructions but when it gets to the part to go to the subfolder "ipod_controls", I can't seem to find it. The only subfolder in on my ipod device is "internal storage". So can I get some help please!!! thanks
when i copied the songs into itunes it doesn't change the name its still the same weird letters any ideas

@juicyditto You probably have a jailbroken ipod touch.For that you will need to download ifunbox google it up its very simple
