this is just based on what ive read in the comments. apologies if its wrong. so apparently theres some sort of a glitchtrap virus that was spread by afton or vanny i forgot who it was but it was between those two. thus, it affected the glamrock animatronics and made them hostile. but as we can see from the intro, freddy malfunctioned during the show before the virus got to him and rebooted in safe mode, thats why he is peaceful

that's because after the events of the first fnaf1, every other animatronics being manufactured were built with protocol to scan children for injuries or to take extra care of them(hence the medical & first-aid stations). But Afton created a virus to hack them or smntg. Here Vanessa is the one who hacked other animatronics besides Freddy to catch him.

@@whohimis194 basically there was a virus in the headset that was vanessa (who you play as in help wanted) was wearing. she was beta testing a game without knowing that it was infected. the virus (glitchtrap) is a digitally manifested version of william afton, aka purple guy. glitchtraps goal in the game is to take over vanessas mind, but he only partially suceeds, becoming a voice inside her head. the antagonist of this game is vannessa and she’s trying to continue what william started

The security bots are an interesting addition. Honestly I'm surprised to see a new take on this game that actually feels new opposed to a reskin as some others have- but ya it's an interesting take a franchise I was worried was beat into the ground with seemingly endless remakes, seems the team felt the same way and wanted to create something new
