You didn't try the masala dose there. A good number of Bangalorians will say it is the best masala dose. My personal opinion is, it rates higher than Vidyarti Bhavan dose coz this is crispier yet not over roasted, and with that gatti chutney. Word about the dose there does not come out much bcoz, they make it only during specific times of the day. and not the entire day.
The best idly and vade in Bengaluru always boils down to it's roots from Brahmins coffee bar...be it SLV, SN refreshments and many more... amazing place
Hello from Maharashtra. The owners and staff at SLV Bar are so humble, soft spoken and pure hearted !! No wonder that the idlis, vadas, dosas and chatni made and served by them, turn out perfect !!! Kirpal Sir's description of each item is apt and tempting !! I wish Good Luck to SLV group !! Hope to visit and eat at SLV sometime.
Remembering our college days, ( by BMS) going to SLV everyday for breakfast or lunch! Their vade and chutney 😋! Thanks Kripal! Keep up the local exploring of the eateries! Have watched pretty much all of your vegetarian haunts! Great job!

I have been missing my beloved Bangalore since I moved to Canada 5 yrs back. Thank you for bringing back all the sweet memories, Kripal. Keep up the great job!
Sir Bangalore has mastered the craft of making world-class idlis, even better than Chennai in some places. But the actual highlight is the chutney combination, no doubt you have made the dish tastier and yummier by just the look of it.
