- I know my channel I normally do model build videos, but considering this is Star Wars and the vast majority of my builds are of Star Wars, I just had to show this. This is the Best Buy limited edition box set of Star Wars The Skywalker Saga on 4K UHD. A 27 disc set of all 9 Star Wars movies on 4K, Blu-ray, and digital codes.

I grew up with the originals, but Revenge of the Sith is actually my favorite Star Wars movie slightly ahead of New Hope and Empire. Ewan as Obi-Wan Kenobi is hands down the best acting in the series!
On the back of the main box I would have put poster art or some kind of art of the attack on the death Star with the millennium falcon X-Wing y wings tie fighters it would have been so cool to add all that.
I have a lot of digi books with disks in like that you don’t pull them staring out you sort of rotate it whilst taking it out and same when putting in they go in and out a lot easier once you’ve mastered it trust me I used to do exactly what you did in the video
I got the individuals today as well, and like most disappointed they are the redone versions. But, it looks great so far.

Great Buy, An edition that will have to be seen if it reaches our country because at the moment Disney does not publish the films in Spain in 4K UHD format.

How should you get the discs out without scratching them? They have scrapes on them from trying to get the disc out

I bought this from Amazon UK the front book is not embossed and there's no codes to download it, so I'm still don't know why it's supposed to be a limited edition.
I'm guessing the American version (Bestbuy), is different from the UK version. Amazon can be cheap.
No doubt a keepsake. I would take all the discs out and store them in regular sleeves if you plan to watch the movies a lot. In five years will be the 8k. It will never end. 100 years from now these movies will still be selling.
Yep, every new generation that comes along will buy them. The films are eternal. You'll have more people liking them, than not liking them.

if they did do a reissue of these movies
they need to do one where they have Multiple cuts of the original trilogy
similar to how sony has the Close encounters of the third kind film in multiple cuts
like you can have theatrical versions of the original trilogy ,reissue versions of the original trilogy, as well as the special edition cuts (at least 1997 through the Previous one ,2011)
warner bros. did something similar with Blade runner where they had Multiple cuts of the film
the Workprint, the US Theatrical Cut, the International Cut, the Director's Cut, and the Final Cut.
if they did a similar approach for star wars trilogy where you had multiple cuts of the original trilogy ranging from the earliest theatrical versions released and included them with the updated special editions ones, at least the ones that made more sense than the 2019 disney plus version, it would be quite helpful
I agree. Would love to have the original versions and multiple cuts. Probably never gonna happen though. Just have to keep the original cut DVD set.
So just from the title I would assume that this box set includes episodes 1-6 only right👍
No, all 9. The Skywalker Saga means all 9 films.

This was the only Star Wars box set that was released. I don't even know if it's still available. It was a limited edition Best Buy release only. The only other way to purchase is individually.

Major L on the packaging. Should have been Anakin's lightsaber on the front then when opened it reveals a kyber crystal in the center.

Yea. It's the even newer versions that haves been newly color timed and some other minor adjustments. So yet another new version.

The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker are horrible movies. But The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are masterpieces. Really brilliant movies!

ya just can't get behind any money tossing towards altered movies, do yourself a favor and google search project 4k77. episode 4 and 6 unaltered 4k as best as possible
Is there a version that comes with just the original three movies, since the last three were horrible movies? First three somewhat better. Disney ones definitely horrid. Waiting to see more B-Wing build.

Sort of agree. There are only 6 Star Wars films, but that's if you count SW, TESB, and ROTJ twice. Never cared a whit for the prequels or the sequels. Didn't even bother seeing "The Rise of Skywalker". I don't think I'm being a snob. I just don't like the other movies.
The box is awesome but Star Wars finished with the episode 6. Nuff said

Episodes 7,8,9 is not part of Skywalker saga there's nothing Skywalker about it, should be called the Rey saga and she is NOT a Skywalker!!

When did Ben become a Skywalker? I must have missed that part. Kathleen Kennedy gave Rey the Skywalker name because girl power. I would have been ok with Rey had they brought her in the right way and had someone competent in charge...a real director and writer. The last 3 movies are for the sjws. I just refer to them as the bad disney space adventures.

You can't buy the Original Star Wars Trilogy as a lone boxset on 4k. You can only buy all 9, or buy them individually on 4K.
