Thanks for this. Tonight I finally found the place some of my hens have been using to lay that I previously could not locate and there were 14 eggs!! going to check them all using your method tomorrow.
That means they’re about to hatch. You can raise them on your own and they’ll think of you as their commander. Train them for combat and grow an army. Good luck, soldier.
thankyou for your video helped me. i thought if they sunk they need to be chucked and if they float they are good, would of been alot of eggs waisted haha
This is important info. You can use the entire older not good for eating eggs in your garden &/or for various household uses. At least compost the inside of egg & use egg shells fir pest control& nutrients for food & medicinal herb garden plants!
I don't think it works 100% of the time... Cracked one that sunk to the bottom in the pan and the smell made me not want to see eggs for the next weeks. I'd still check by cracking them in a different container and doing a visual and smell test.

Oh Geez ,somebody told me the opposite ,and said if they don't float , they're no good ,so they must sink ,and stay ,ok thank you might of saved some lives!

Lesson of the day: don't eat floaters

Yeah, this should become the top egg floaty video! Intro is a bit long, but the gold is at 0:47
It's not a silly video, thanks for the details that helped me more then then other videos I have been watching 👍
This was great! Short and to the point!
worse yet,the eggs i bought from the store are bouncing and make a lot of noises while shaking it,something really weird going on

I just watched a video where this guy put a egg that was two years old into a glass of water and it sank right to the bottom. Would you eat this egg?
Why not. Wasn’t bad
Thank you!
just discovered that out of like 40 eggs we had, only 5 of them sunk. awesome.

Surely a bowl with a flat bottom would be better and wtf is a "bunch of water"?
A bunch of water… look at my example. No need for flat bottoms on this channel. Smart ass.
