Thanks! Yeah, I think with 4 character or maybe with 1 life cleric it would be possible to keep her alive. Or maybe with a strong sorcerer / mage… highly unlikely with two rogues, I think… but then again… we could get that medium armor for free so that’s a win :)
@@356z I can see how it would be doable with a party of 4, or even with just the right characters / equipment. Need to disable enemies and heal Isobel for a few turns.
I forgot to add, if you want to wash the blood of your face, as Mike asked, you can actually do that in-game. For this, you need to find soap or a sponge, they have a "use" function which removes all dirt and blood on your character
Oof, you two were unlucky being a duo and doing this blind. I didn’t struggle keeping her alive in my honor mode, but I had two more characters. I recommend escaping if you can and returning at a higher level if you can
It's not that hard to save Isobel with a normal party. I've never lost Isobel unless I want it to happen. The winged ghouls are low level and very squishy. Marcus can be disarmed, knocked prone, etc. The Harpers and Flaming Fist in the inn also can stand their ground against the ghouls. The big problem you had is that you're only 2 people and both only have 1 attack per action, so you can't even throw a bunch of potions at Isobel. As for when you rolled a 1 and still succeeded that ability check, I have no doubt you are correct, it must have been Halfling Luck. Apparently Halfling Luck just doesn't have an animation, it seems
@immersioneer Well, I did comment on Mike's video with vague warning. That being said, it was the most likely scenario, this fight is for a full party and it's still not 100% :-) You might at least still get your armour though
@@alexmashkin863 Yeah, no way I could have anticipated that. I thought Isobel is going to cast some super duper spell and help us. I was right in that they clearly aimed for her and the fight finished once they did get her. I didn't anticipate the entire tavern going to hell :) If we can get that medium armor for Linus though, I'd be ok with this overall :) Otherwise, it's a bit unfortunate :)
Now time for a long fight. Save Jaheira. You will really need her now. Looking forward to seeing how you go.
Yup, going to be tough. We’ll try to save her, but ultimately it’s important that Findon and Linus survive :)
Great video! Saving Isobel is infamously difficult, she can be quite suicidal. Good luck in the coming fight.

Really? I saved her pretty easily lol I've only finished one playthrough so far

Im pretty sure throwing water on the group also works
@@frostbite-u8r It does, and so does the spell Create Water, but those 2 options cost resources while soap and sponges can be used infinitely
Awesome, I never knew that. We’ll need to get some soap / sponges then!
I haven't seen episode yet but the title is giving me chills 🥶
Next one is going to be a spicy one :)

Nah, we can take them :) We got Jaheira with us too. I think we’ll try to fight them.

Yeah, kind of a cool plot twist though - I like it. Yeah, it was interesting to see the halfling luck in action!
This happened to me on my first try. 😢
Pretty cool, I love it when there is no clear foreshadowing of key fights / events like this and they just happen!
That one is always hard, but the first time through was horrible for me.
Yeah, looks like a tough one, but I think it’s doable.
@@immersioneer It is doable, but it's a bit easier to plan when you know what's coming.
Have you both stopped reading comments? Or you're just recording in batches?
No, we read them, this week we recorded each episode one by one, why? Did we miss something?
