You should watch Berserk 1997, Vinland Saga, Kingdom and Mushishi. Also, if you're looking for another great psychological thriller series, I highly recommend checking out Hannibal, it's not an anime but it's a great show.

Decided to check this outro out of nowhere. Just realised that I watched this outro the day before an irreversible damage happened to my life. Come to think of it, that was only natural. Mid June 2021, I watched Monster for first time and immediately checked out the outro the same day I watched episode 1. Did that again this year and next day, the damage happened. Watching this after experiencing what can only be described as a period where I shut myself and got miserable, I can only say, cherish what you have and be prepared for tough days in advance, do evertthing possible to make sure you don't get dragged down by your incompetence. Dr. Tenma wasn't avlento anticipate the trouble Johan would bring in his life, but we can do little to deal with issues which are anywhere from insignificant to minor in difficulty. Whatever you are right in this moment, make sure to become better than that or at least maintain it.
