We always plant something together on mother's day..I love looking at my lilac bush that we planted as a family on my first mother's day and seeing how big it is now.

Not doing this on Mother’s Day, but I have a staycation coming up and I plan on spending one whole day at a local state park and just completely destimulate. Listen for God. I’m so excited. But I love your ideas for Mother’s Day!

I would probably get a guest pass at a gym to lift heavy weights. I know that probably sounds crazy but since I never have time for a gym membership, I don’t have one. But before kids, I loved lifting heavy weights!! Now we don’t have the space or budget for it. But that sounds like a Mother’s Day treat… followed by a little solo trip to the beach. Mm… it’s funny thinking about the things we enjoyed before kids. 😂

I liked all of these, I would add to make sure you spend time with your kids the day before or so and get all the chores done (like you mentioned) and then do this. I would like the most the one where I spend time alone at home or go out with friends who don't have kids to the most non-kid-friendly place I can go to.
Love the idea of spending time with the kids the day before, especially if you'll be alone ALL DAY on mothers day. Hope you can make plans with your friends at a non kid friendly place! hehe

Hey Nicole, you don't have to say BUT. You can say "I love my kids AND I enjoy spending time alone". The but makes it seem negative when it's not. Loved the video. Waiting for the next one! ❤️
