Cause it's not the way the devs intended for casual players to get Ace medal. I had to look it up but I had troubles replicating the OP's jump and thought there was the easier way to do this. Basically, when you first obtain the rocket, you can already see the red door from afar - just shoot a rocket towards them. Then proceed with the rest of the level as you normally would (so stomp etc.). Made it to 40:26 on my first try when I first came up with this, which is over 2 seconds before the level threshold. After a couple of tries I made it under 36 seconds - slightly worse than OP's time but I guess I could still improve that but it's enough for me. And definitely enough for anyone who doesn't care that much about leaderboards - it's over 7 seconds lower than ace medal threshold.

It really isn't. Just use a mouse.
It's also feasible by going right of the building instead of under. you won't be as fast but you'll get the medal.
You can catch yourself on the lip on the building at the bottom. You’ll cut it close, but I was able to ace it that way.
